bagman (04/29/2013) [-] Directors actually have a substantial amount of editorial power over the script and set of a movie; not to mention, they (for the most part) control the delivery of lines. Frequently, they're given creative license to rewrite or omit lines to suit their vision for the movie. It's why the Star Wars prequels were such trash, George Lucas decided he wanted to direct them. Even with the cringingly awful dialogue, a good director could have done something with those movies | ||
