I mean about the EU specifically, we're not as up our own ass as a people as people in a lot of Euro countries, our government though, they're a different story, they in no way represent us, as I'm sure is the story in other countries.

Do it. Just got back from Europe and I'm going to South Africa in December. Traveling is the best thing for a person. Talk to everyone you can while traveling. You'll learn a lot.
