I wasn't in marching band, but I still went to all the practices and a couple games.
Hmm... I don't remember if my band went to that... Tournament of the Bands? Exhibition? I wasn't paying that much attention.

Now I have to pick an instrument. The director wants me to play a brass because most of our brass section is graduating this year... I'm thinking maybe trumpet, because there's only two. What do you recommend?

See, now I have to get MY bandies to jump YOUR bandies. Mine are so much cooler, but it's a pretty small group

But our drumline kind of sucks, and I don't wanna be the one to make it suck more. My friend's dad is in charge of it, so I could, but nah. Brass section actually needs people. The director is encouraging flutes to switch over, so we're good on flutes, saxes, and clarinets. I've been offered the French horn, Trombone, and Trumpet.

I kind of want to play Trombone because 1. There's currently only one 2. It's an easier one and 3. To be able to call myself a Tromboner.

yes & daw. it means alot. youre one of the few people (becides bandies) that are cool with having freshman friends.

Bandies are the main ones that are cool with it. I'm referred to as either "honorary band kid" "band creep" or "band slave" Band slave because they put me to work, man. I've barely associated with my non-musical friends since the 1st marking period of last year.

Actually, one of my best friends now is a freshman. It's just that every year, the freshman ACTUALLY get shittier.
