Evolution of controllers
It's so good. Too bad it doesn't have a rumble pack.
To be honest, that doesn't look awfully comfie.
you need to feel it, my niggah, the slender plastic fitting perfectly between your fingers while you clickity-clack the octagonal corners of the analog sticks.
It ain't shit that you can simply explain to someone bruh, you need it
I feel you nigga
It just looks clunky. Is it really that good?
It fits in your hand like a sock to a foot
Sorry, I haven't given it a chance (yet) but I want to change that, for real.

Sleeping With A Cat
Eh, yes and no? You have to remember that they have the futon on tatami mat's normally which does help. Its not horribly hard when combined with the padding of the futon but its in no way as comfortable as a real bed.

- I've always hated teachers saying that Years ago when…
I hate having teachers like that.
for instance, i once had a math teacher who was doing it wrong. I'm normally a pretty good student but i just wasn't getting it with this guy, and neither was at least a third of the class i talked to, so i tried suggesting to him a few things he could do to help me and perhaps the rest of the class learn better than he just gave me that "When you go to college for four years then you can tell me how to run my class"
Why would you not
A) understand that learning involves both the student and the teacher
B) want input from the person who actually has to sit there and learn that shit?
Same exact thing happened in one of my math classes. It was in a trailer outside of the actual high school building and some kid corrected the teacher. She got defensive, it went back and forth until she said "I'll wait till you're done. I'm not going to teach if you're not going to listen." About a minute of silence and the kid goes "but isn't that your job?" She kicked the entire class out of the trailer and we wandered the halls for the last 15 minutes of class.
My advice and I know it's wrong but never correct a teacher in front of their students
most of them get defensive
I always knew english very well, started learning it really early and spent most of my childhood in canada, so when i came home in middle school or w/e I'd always get into these arguments with the english teacher, I loved it cause she would be so bothered but she knew I was right and would have to admit it cause she cant teach the class something wrong.
Hell I've even corrected the textbook once or twice. Being a cheeky shit is great.
I used to have a teacher who would be really calm and would tell you off if you stepped out of line, but sometimes she would do this thing where you would listen to her own words and it would make her angrier. No one would backchat or give her smart remarks but she would get louder and louder as if she was being defied it was really odd.
It sounds like the typical bitchy 'I want a reason to be pissy' type-of-person.
My favorite will always be the teachers that will loudly yell at the class about how much time they are wasting and the moment class is over they would still get mad about the time wasted.
A vivid memory of mine would be some ignorant kid telling my spanish teacher how she was "the shittiest teacher he had ever seen." Of course he was kicked right the fuck out and that was the end of it.
Or so we though.
The moment she turned around she said "I've been teaching this for quite some time and I know for a fact I can teach spanish much better than you all can teach yourselves." To back up this assertion she handed out packets to students of all the papers that they had already completed from the entire first semester and told them it was due by the next class. All the while passing off comments to each student explaining how it is they are not doing well in the class (even kids with perfect scores were told how to improve). But back to the story. Not even a joke, she had copies of all original papers except they were blank for the next year.
After it was all handed out there was silence because no student really expected this to come from a teacher, and then the girl in my group (groups of 4 at desks for study days) made a huge mistake. She got up and sat down at the teachers desk and whispered "Are you okay?"
The gates were opened and the flood was expected to pulse out but instead it was the door to a furnace and the heat shot out and burnt this lil girl. The class quit working to watch in awe as this teacher, maybe 30 years old, straight unloaded the most ebonics laden speech on this girl about how the teacher did not need the student, and her comment wasn't necessary. About how if she really hated the teacher she could just leave, and how she wouldn't really be missed. To prove herself as the alpha teacher she switched to rapid spanish, slowly raising her voice and throwing her arms around more until she was literally shaking, yelling at this girl that maintained the straightest face of all time. Then it all stopped. Not a slow a stuttering stop either. The teacher just stopped moving and sat back in her chair.
The little, quiet girl from my Junior year Spanish one class dropped the hardest line I have ever heard.
"I recorded this."
The bell went off, the girl left her stuff in the class and walked out.
I didn't see the teacher for the rest of my high school career.
Picture is the student whenever the teacher tried to roast her.
class' fw dat last line
Damn I hope that's a true story
Going through it right now. About 75% of the time, I'm about ready to jump out the nearest window. College has always looked like paradise to me, but if I have learned anything from life, it's that nothing is all it's cracked up to be.
Uni/College is a marvelous place full of wonder and learning compared to high school.
Thanks a lot for using a comparison, hope you are well.
Did you make a bot for this?
I feel like you made a bot for this
Nope, I type all of them out.
it's way better than high school. As long as your roommates don't suck you should be fine
hey say high school is the worst period of your life. They ain't lying
I've heard the exact opposite, so many people, guidance counselors and teachers especially, go on about how "Oh, High School is the best years of your life!" and how it was "The happiest days of our lives!"
It was simpler times, sure, but I'll still take juggling 40 hour work weeks and 20 credit semesters being surrounded by people I can relate to and work with than... I can't even really summarize how my High School was like.
I miss high school. Being in uni has sucked.
then you're doing it wrong
>have a ton of bills
>broke as shit
>had to bike miles through snow and negative temperatures to get to uni
>worked 35 hours a week and have taken 17-18 credits every semester
Sorry we can't all have our parents pay for us to sit on our asses and fuck around.
