No. He used to be kinda a faggot, but then he was k. He didn't really look like another spiky-haired anime character and he wasn't a faggot ninja/spartan or whatever. I liked him best in 3. Everyone seems to hate 2 though. Also, he was pretty chill in 4.

But we didn't see the entire boss fight? Plus it's a press release, they make them easier so that when they show the game off there is no chance of them dying in game. Imagine how embarrassing it would be to show off your game, everyone marvelling at how impressive it looks and then suddenly your character just drops dead and you have to restart that section so you can show the rest of it. The game will probably be harder than that on launch.
