The point was that he could have had internet, seeing as 1999 is close to the time the internet started to boom, according to you. However, that was an argument based entirely off my initial misconception of the post so that's irrelevant now.

>"... that he might not have had access to internet.
Something you likely not even considered, seeing your original post."
At first, yeah. I misinterpreted the message and thought he printed out a copy of the cover of the VHS, which I will admit is retarded since you can check to see what the video is just by watching it. But I realized my mistake long before this comment.

All I'm saying that it was still normal to not have internet back in those days.
Even in as far 2005 only 51% of the people in developed countries had internet. At which time VHS was practically obsolete.

This story very likely happened when internet was not an option for him, now you tell me how are you going to get free porn without internet.

Omg, I'm agreeing with you. He could have not had internet. I even admitted to my earlier mistake. You're taking us in circles. Just shut up.

1999 is "around 2000" smart guy. Meaning, according to you, that was around the time "that internet started to become mainstream." Granted, I misread the box art thing, but that's not the bulk of this argument. He just might not have had it and I'm willing to believe that but there's not definite way of proving anything from the information provided.

Yes, your point being?

I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm just pointing out the obvious possibility that he might not have had access to internet.
Something you likely not even considered, seeing your original post.

Titanic wasn't available on DVD until August 31, 1999. And where do you think he got the Titanic box art from?
User avatar
#63 - auryn (05/24/2016) [-]
So? It could've been in 1999, in 2000, in 2001, in 2002, etc.

At the time Titanic was released not even half of the people had internet in their homes you know.

What are you talking about box-art? He just changed the bill he got through the mail, either he rewrote it or he scanned it.

He had MS Paint. I'm pretty sure that was around long after the internet. Granted, he might not have been able to connect to it but he didn't specify.

It wasn't until around 2000 that internet really started to become mainstream.

And Microsoft has been shipping their Windows with versions of paint since like forever.
