Then cut off the part that's filled with holes cirurgically and cauterize the wound.

it's not really ideal to cauterize a wound that big
nor is it ideal to cut off a big chunk of healthy skin
it may be full of parasites, but the skin around them is relatively fine, and will heal with time and antibiotics

NO

YOU MUST BURN THE WOUND TO MAKE SURE NONE OF THOSE FUCKERS ARE LEFT ALIVE

actually, that's a particularly bad idea, because if they ARE still in there, they'll die, but rot inside of your skin, producing necrosis or infections where they were. You have to push them out and then use antibiotics and anti-worm medicine. However, this isn't even a problem for humans, because our skin isn't thick enough. Furred animals have a really thick layer of skin that the worms can live in, but for humans they just go straight into the bloodstream and get flushed out with very little harm (usually, i'll admit there are a select few exceptions).

for some reason instinctly think it means after midnight and post midnight which doesn't make sense

While those aren't the actual meaning, they will give you the correct time when used like that.
I use that as a memory aid too.

However you weren't that far off, it is Latin for ante meridiem and post meridiem, which means before midday and after midday. (I had to google this)

I live in a military family. Both my US born and raised military parents know military time. You are inferior for a reason.
