Morrowind sure didn't age well, but I still love playing it from time to time.

On the other hand, I still believe Oblivion is superior to Skyrim. Call me an RPG Hardfag, but Skyrim seems horribly simplified, and lower on content. It literally has 2 types of dungeons, and doesn't have many of them. Oblivion seems like the higher content game to me.

Huh. I preferred Skyrim's atmosphere, environments, music etc, and the gameplay felt more satisfying to me. Playing a mage in Oblivion was horribly detached and clumsy, but in Skyrim I can play a battlemage no problem. This really only applies to PC, but modded Skyrim >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> modded Oblivion.

I hated the combat, the hit-and-miss system was total shit.

Yup, and usually I get D&D dice vets who just shout "WEL U JUS CANT PRESHIATE A GOOD RPG HURR". Doesn't change the fact that it's boring as shit and visually appalling. If I hit something directly across the face, I expect to hit it directly across the goddamn face.
