It is the full story, and you (and every other "pansexual") refuse to see and accept that you're just like everyone else.
#77 - auesis (12/31/2013) [-]
I don't think you understand what I mean. At base level, you can be one of those three definitions or the other things like zoophiles (too many of those to list). However, I'm trying to explain that sexuality has the possibility of being dynamic. You do not have to have the same framework for the whole of your lifetime. This isn't uncommon or anything, it happens to billions of people.

Nobody here is trying to pretend they're special or unique, because they're not.

I'll really back out now before it escalates. I've made my point, I have now properly explained it and I stand by it. You can shit all over it if you want, doesn't matter to me.

Good day for real.

Actually, it is those three things.

If you're straight, you're attracted to the opposite sex.
If gay, the same sex.
If bi, you're attracted to both.

Everything else is literally proverbial BS that people come up with to make themselves a special snowflake, and you're enabling them. Stop it.
#73 - auesis (12/31/2013) [-]
I firmly believe that isn't the full story, but I'm not going to bother trying to fight it. All sexuality arguments on the internet explode in to hatred within minutes. So, sure. Whatever you say.

Good day.

Having issues is not supposed to give you a free-pass for everything or else society ought to devolve quite a bunch more than it already has... well, people always tend to go for the "I have mental issues" excuse when trying to alleviate the sentence in court, so ... (-__-)
Though it doesn't sound right your cousin didn't get any trouble from it - of course, teaching the kid a lesson wouldn't have been bad, but destroying him that much is rather harsh to say the least.
Obviously, it was the mother's fault as well, but the judgment seems waaaay too one-sided ~_~
When a kid with issues tries to piss the shit out of you, you probably should just write it off as a child's prank... but when it comes to material damages and stress, he should be put into his place, so he might eventually associate doing bad things with punishment, as we tend to teach our kids.

tl;dr yah, I somewhat agree wif cha even if I dislike the way law enforcement got twisted

#81 - kwizzer (12/28/2013) [-]
Hate how it changes so much from one place to another.

Luckily, we barely had any bullying in our middle/high school (at least not around me) except at the end of middle school, my friend started getting shit from a few classmates for like 2 weeks and he tried pulling a Gandhi (had to re-check his name not to misspell it) ("just let them do whatever they want, they'll get tired of it")...
>he gets shit from 3 guys
>told him to defend himself (he's got to learn it at one point, I thought)
>he doesn't want to
>sigh, drag the 'main' guy out of the classroom
>tell him to stop annoying mah frand
>he's all like "I'm just talking to him *looks at his 2 pals* *giggles*"
>beat him once, he falls to ground, guy's shocked
>tell him to fuck off unless he wants more
>get back inside
>frand gets angry at me
>problem solved.

hum, just to say that depending on the situation, 5mins can solve the issue, whereas sometimes it might take more time, like training yourself in some kind of fighting sport, getting buff etc to intimidate others or strengthening one's forces otherwise... if nothing else goes, I guess passing as "the weirdo" works just fine, can't find the pic with the "No... don't... or I'll get an erection" which I wonder if it works, it'd creep the shit out of people for sure

User avatar #146 - zomgwaffle (12/28/2013) [-]
Yes it was and I'll never regret it, I don't like when people think they can push someone around for no reason. He was the only kid who tried picking on me though but this wasn't the school I went to where you needed to stick up for yourself or have big friends lol. I went there just for 8th grade, hated that hick school though haha. Good on you for sticking up for your friend also.
#147 - kwizzer (12/28/2013) [-]
I'm glad (and also hoped) it was worth it ^-^
I would've probably done the same... depends, I first try to wait some time to see if it's just a one-time thing, but if the shithead continues trying to pick a fight - there it goes.
I'm happy it worked out 'fine' for you (would take quite a bunch of school punishments to make me reconsider teaching an asshat a lesson ^--^)

Myah, I didn't get any trouble for it, just rumors spreading about me being aggressive 'n stuff, so some people from other classes I had never talked to before were somewhat awkward around me even though I was calm and friendly most of the time (well... I did have like one fight per 1-2 years starting elementary school which isn't a lot when I compare to some people...)
And I don't think he got any problems with the same people later on (even though I wasn't in his class anymore 'n he kind of distanced himself from meh)

Too bad it was just for your 8th grade, I guess, having established some kind of reputation usually keeps you safe (unless some badass wants to exert revenge or prove himself), on the other hand it's good if you hated that HS

I doubt I'll ever teach my kids "don't fight back", rather tell them
"If you can avoid a fight - avoid it.
If you're clearly outnumbered and don't stand a chance, fight if you know there will be someone to stop them once you've been beaten up (at least you won't be considered a pansy, so people won't come to fuck around with you), else: get the fuck out.
If it's a one-on-one: beat him up till he stops (try not to leave permament marks like punching a guy with glasses in his face - that's not cool).
If you outnumber the other guy, go for a 1-on-1 without your pals joining in if you lose (unless he cheated by using weapons etc).
If it's a chick - try holding her arms 'n make her calm down... ask others to join in if need be (if you punch her, you'll be the bad buy no matter what...)."

tl;dr don't be an asshole/pansy/reckless when fighting.
User avatar #149 - zomgwaffle (12/29/2013) [-]
I didn't get in trouble at home for it though. I explained the situation to my mom and she understood. I have a son and I'll tell him if he's being picked on to stand up for himself and that if he ever decides to be a bully he'll have a shit time not being able to do anything he wants at home.
#150 - kwizzer (12/29/2013) [-]
I've never gotten trouble at home for getting into fights, only once I got 'pitied' 'cause the fucking asshole who picked a fight with me (first grade) started the 'fight' by pushing me backwards down stone stairs... I broke my nose 'n got sent to the hospital (my nose is still somewhat curved/not straight cause of that, I thinkz)
Mostly 'cause teachers were like "No, it can't be his fault, he's so calm, friendly and has top grades." I never got any form of punishment.
But yah, I never took the fight to someone who didn't bully someone I knew or who didn't come to me specifically for it.

I'm happy you'll teach your son not to be a bully, but also to defend himself (according to movies that seems rather rare, I guess).
I guess your only problem will be "how do I notice if my son is a bully?", as I guess, parents themselves tend to be rather oblivious to such matters (when it concerns their own child)?
User avatar #151 - zomgwaffle (12/29/2013) [-]
Because I refuse to be a parent who believes their child is perfect in every way, I love my son but no one is perfect. I'm not sure how I'd make sure he isn't a bully but hopefully I'll raise him right.

Ya know, this story makes me sad.

It's a sad world when children must dispense justice, instead of their parents raising the bad kids properly, and maturely and wisely adjudicating any occasional disputes that arise.

Basically, this KID paid for his MOTHER failing to raise him properly - and 'mental issues' probably stem from abuse... i.e., where was his father?

+1 tho - your cousin went way overboard, buy congrats to him for at least having a spine in the middle of a bunch of dickless parents.
#67 - anonymous (12/28/2013) [-]

What the fuck is wrong with you tards?
#156 - swagbot (12/30/2013) [-]
You know what... you're actually right.

Here's the real tragedy;
> As Older People, we can (wisely) tell that the kid is acting out b/c of his condition.
> So, the Old people in the situation should have known that and fucking helped the kid and found away to fix that.
> Instead the cousin, from his young, simplistic viewpoint, sees a crazy kid stealing stuff, and decided to exact justice upon him.

TlR WHERE THE FUCK WERE THE PARENTS IN THIS SITUATION, ON BOTH SIDES?!?

I've seen too many situations like this in my life, and a little piece of me dies every time... What the FUCK made the past generation so fucking dickless?!
User avatar #108 - heartlessrobot (12/28/2013) [-]
Yeah, what the fuck is wrong with the tards? Going around, stealing shit. Needed to be put in his place, and the cousin did just fucking that.

Eeeyup. A few family members work in law and law enforcement, basically managed to twist the story against the kid and place the blame on his mother for not giving him medication and thus avoiding any mishaps.

Not that it amounted to anything, she's still a stubborn bitch who thinks nothing is wrong with her batshit hellspawn.

Well, he had the right idea, but there's a difference between making an example and just devolving in to an animal.

Guess it built up, though. Same kid enjoyed throwing rocks at the both of us from high terrain (we're right in the middle of the Welsh valleys). Only so much you can take before Kratos explodes out of you.
#73 - anonymous (12/28/2013) [-]

Was it worth it?
