| I wouldn't have a problem with her if her comics were funny. Hell, even if they weren't and she didn't try to censor people, I wouldn't have a problem with her. She doesn't even censor people, you don't see her deleting comments, she listens to any advice given, and responds to trolls well, and I for one enjoy the humour of her comics. Thats the point of the thumb down button, you thumb down what you dislike, and guess what, I dislike your opinion. #134 -

| wait this is a bug? In the GOOD Game Dark Troopers had ARC Casters Which you could charge up and shoot lightning out of Also if you look up at the hero vs Villian Roster, You can see that it says palpatine is dead too. wtf? It seems to usually be the first round of the match, when one team has less than three players when the round starts. When someone joins, they are spawned as Rebel/Stormtrooper, and the game goes "shit, we have to make this guy a hero since this team hasn't spawned this hero yet", but the model doesn't change and the counter on the top doesn't update. That's my theory at least. | ||

| I don't the Minuteman are an option to end with as far as I know, otherwise I might have done that. I may have just been unable to figure out how. If you liberate enough settlements you get to choose to build the teleporter thing into the institute with the minute men, they end up allying with the railroad and you get to shoot the Prydwen down with artillery, then you attack the institute. | ||

| The game wants you to support the BoS. The perks are just too heavily in their favor. Some of the more powerful weapons in the game, second best power armor almost imminently, random paladin support teams roaming the world
synth relay grenades are cool but they don't level scale so are nearly useless
, and verdibirds. For reasons I point out in #57 the institute is the moral choice but BoS is the better game play wise. I haven't played the game so I have no clue what you should do. Because my computer can't fucking run it like I've said a hundred times by now. You could join the railroad. Since they're pretty much the only ones on the moral high ground in this regard. #57 -
asasqw (11/29/2015) [-] >Destroying the only two factions that have any hope of fixing the wasteland in order to further a group whos only goal is the liberation of AI, destroying the people who make said AI in the process. For fuck's sake they don't even keep the AI as it is, they mind wipe them and put in a new set of memories, exactly what the institute's secret police does but throwing them out as random people and keeping no tabs on them. EX: Letting that asswhole who turned into the leader of a massive Raider group The minutemen are the only ones who can claim high ground since they have a plan for the future admittedly one small in scope and commit no morally iffy things to reach it. The ending that leaves the commonwealth in the best state is the pro institute ending since it keeps the single most advanced group in the wasteland, possibly even more so than the enclave in their prime, not only intact but thriving due to their near limitless power supply. With the player character now leading the institute they get final say on what projects are created and what acts are undertaken. No more kidnappings, replacements, broadcast out to the entirety of the commonwealth that the institute is under new management and use the Gen 1&2 synths as the troops of the newly reformed minutemen. An army to protect any settlement beamed in at a moment's notice. It will take time for people to get over what Father's administration did but they don't really have a say regardless. Not to mention that you can have Piper do a full interview on her paper which apparently all of diamond city reads, mayor Hancock is already a companion so good neighbor is on your side as well. The only problem left would be the brotherhood of steel, but with their forces now, again, leaderless it will take them a long time to regroup and form an offensive. That and with a constant stream of how the institute is helping the commonwealth it may change some hearts. Even if they do attack if your careful about who gets a courser chip they can't do shit to attack you. ADD version: Brotherhood short sighted, Railroad dumb. Minutemen good, Institute best hope for humanity #61 -
severepwner (11/29/2015) [-] I see what you're saying, I had similar thoughts as that was the only way I could see justifying siding with the Institute. But have you considered that the rest of the Institute isn't going to tolerate and altruistic director for long? They practically worshiped father despite all of immoral deeds, and many of the Institute's occupants are completely ignorant of the concepts of empathy, charity, or "not being a narcissist". The entire board could very well turn on the Director, and put that monster Doctor Li into power IF they could manage it of course. No one ever beats the main character of course, but you would still have the Institute divided, if not the majority of it refusing to support you or your goals. Some things I think you consider, the Institute ARE NOT good people. Let me correct your misunderstandings of the Railroad. They don't want more synths to be created (they don't oppose it but let me finish), they want all the current ones to be free. We don't need a population of synths, but there's a current population that's being enslaved and oppressed. The Railroad don't keep tabs on every synth because it's not their job to control people's lives (unlike the Institute) it's their job to give these synths back their lives. Sure a synth became a leader of a band of raiders, so what? There's also thousands of other human raiders on the Eastern seaboard, and we administer justice every chance we get. The same goes for that synth, synth or human, we all have a choice, and we all deserve to have a choice. Giving him the choice wasn't the wrong decision, him deciding to become a raider was. But as with all free men, when one commits a crime he's punished, but that's not an excuse to oppress an entire people. Also, why do we need to have on evil or the other control the entire wasteland? Have you considered it's doing just fine as it is? People get by, settlements are founded and become cities, people work together, make discoveries and innovations together, build civilization together one block at a time. We don't need to sacrifice our liberty or morality for one powerful organization or the other, because humanity doesn't need saving. Unless we need to be saved from the people trying to "save" us. Institute: narcissistic, power hungry, morally bankrupt mad scientists who want to control everyone's life. Railroad: An organization whose sole purpose is to give synths the ability to live on their own terms for better or for worse, that, just like freedom, is worth the risk. But then all the railroad manages is to make a couple new citizens, lose the idea they represent so disband/lose members, and make the commonwealth a huge target for the now out for blood BoS. Yeah the scientists who grew up there are terrible people, but they take people from the outside that are more than squishy robots. Let them do their respective projects and they will be content. Change the institute into two half R&D and the synth backed minutemen. Stop making Gen 3 for menial tasks and use 1 and 2 for almost everything. Also the SRD gets to go strait to hell. If you choose the Railroad, after you win, the Railroad knows the Brotherhood could return and that survivors are still in the area and takes action for those probabilities. The Railroad isn't as oblivious as you think. Also the Minutemen would still likely ally with the Railroad, their General is in it after all. Also Railroad recruitment doesn't rely on synths at all, most of its members are just people of the commonwealth, and some synths that joined instead of undergoing a memory wipe. Also with the Institute gone, they can loosen up many of their paranoid policies and raise recruitment a bit, which isn't entirely necessary considering one of their greatest challenges have now been passed. Also the Railroad didn't make a target of anyone but themselves, of course. In fact they didn't even do that to start with. The Railroad would never have had to fight anyone if the Institute and Brotherhood didn't always try to kill them. Trust me, the Railroad has their bases covered, the only reason the Institute could ever turn the tables was after the character joined. The Railroad was able to survive against the powerful institute despite them being the under dogs, the character joining the Railroad increases their survivability even more. They're more resourceful than you give them credit for, and not nearly as short sighted and foolish as you think. They don't just save a few synths, they also stop the Institute from their long term goal of domination of everything they can reach. And that's a helluva lot better than helping them assume control. Nuking the world may have done a lot of things, but one thing it shouldn't is take away our freedom, and force us under their Ivory Tower regime. This is America, we didn't fight this hard to go back to Monarchies. If you seriously consider the Railroad, which is practically a carbon copy of the original Underground Railroad, comparable to Tumblr Social Justice Warriors. You have officially trivialized the concept of morality and equality to the point you are being a true racist. Come on dude, don't let your sense of humanity and equality be ruined by idiots on the internet. They're nothing like the original underground Railroads, they're cunts through and through. Walking in their headquarters in full BoS power armor and eradicating them was the best mission of the entire game. Their entire mission is exclusively to rescuing synths who want to be free from the institute. How is that "cunts"? Their entire mission is selfless, they get nothing for all their work, them and the Minutemen are the only factions whose sole purpose isn't exclusively selfish. Versus the Brotherhood, who despise synths for no reason, and just want to hoard technology just so no one else can have it. They only care about themselves, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but they're just one evil deed away from being complete bastards. And the Railroad are the cunts, you fucking hypocrite. They're too far gone now. They see any compassion as SJW pandering and gamergate shit. Let them be. Maybe they will find peace in their madness. Just because their mission is "selfless", doesn't mean the people themselves are good people. The Railroad are the one organization the pissed me off from the first second I met them. The people in the railroad themselves were the bad part, not just their goal. The brotherhood had very clear cut reasons for hating Synths, as would anyone that had to see a loved one replaced with a Synth. The way Synths were running wild, replacing whoever they wanted whenever they wanted, needed to be stopped. The Institute was playing God, and to many people that is reason enough. The Brotherhood of Steel are the only organization in the Commonwealth with the experience and the man power to actually help. It's not "The Synths and The Institute" it's just "The Institute". If a synth tries to kill someone you love and replace them, fine you defend yourself. If a synth is literally just want to live their own life, or are living their own life, leave them the fuck alone. Their people just like everyone else, and they like all men, should not be lumped together as being the same. Synths aren't a threat to anyone, The Institute and its servants are. But your mistake is assuming that synths represent the Institute. I plan to restart after finishing the story with the BoS and siding with the minute men who end up allying with the railroad, I feel the minute men are the best choice for the common wealth, the railroad are good allies. | ||
