They were sold into slavery by African slave runners.
The point is that no black person in America today would WANT to go back to Africa.
Africa is shit.

Imagine religion wasn't involved, as in noone had religion whatsoever. The majority of a state doesn't want gay marriage because they don't like it for whatever reason. But a small minority does, do they automatically have to make it legal? In florida we wanted pot legalized for medical use, the vote was really close too. But it's not legal because we were outvoted.

When does the minority ever outvote the majority in a democratic society? Only when an issue of rights is at hand. So the real question is whether the SCs reasoning was sufficient to make a ruling like that. Then there's the whole legality of the Supreme Court and how they went about this decision. Then there's the fact of the federal government forcing shit down the states throats once again.

Good point. But, they referenced Portland along with a lot of things it has within it such as, Hipsters, Voodoo Donuts, along with the gray, grey, and more gray sky.
Also I think Seth was raised in Portland, a city near Springfield. But we should take all of this with a grain of salt considering the location of The Simpsons is a reoccurring gag on the show.
