Not a very intelligent point to make, really. We can also download a file from China faster than cops can arrive, we can die from a heart attack in the time it takes them to arrive, we could slip on a banana peel and accidentally summon forth a demon into our plane of existence in the time it takes them to arrive. It's not poignant, it just...is.

Hardly anything in this site is worth taking seriously. It was past midnight and I was bored. Although the amount of arguments brewed from the variety of topics posted is comical.

Ok, and what does that ave to do with anything? I was just pointing out that the police arrive faster than pizza on average. Of course they will never arrive fast enough if you need them, because by the time you need them it is already too late generally speaking.

You still aren't getting it, you may THINK you're better than the general population but that feeling isn't mutual in the slightest, in a position where a low wage employee has to kill you or himself you're dead every time, because his self worth is above yours to HIM.

And that's it, you're importance is whatever you give yourself considering every individual is replaceable and dying, if you finally stop seeing yourself as apart of some monarchy you'll have done have the battle already.

User avatar #806 - ashlynnlynn (04/05/2014) [-]
Employment positions are valued from the influence made to society, not a "feeling" of worth. Fast food restaurants are a dime a dozen, several more satisfy when one doesn't. Doctoral positions are few and far between, with their contributions giving greater progression than satisfying hunger. Everyone can feel they are the most important figure to their standards, but the reality is that a hierarchy system does in fact separate such individuals. There was never a battle to be fought, it had already been lost by the original poster. People never have enough humility to admit their standings in society, and feel they deserve more with less. Further more, they will never see the greater picture outside their perspective in that they are insignificant compared to much more notable individuals. Once the lower class learns their place, only then will they step up and make something of themselves, instead of being reminded of their short comings.

You've confused passion with arrogance, your own worth is whatever you entitled yourself to, when you finally enlighten yourself and become less self-centered you'll be able to comprehend this better.
User avatar #804 - ashlynnlynn (04/05/2014) [-]
Comprehending that my worth is more than a low wage employee? That my passion is the reason I understand that it takes a higher calling to earn more? Enlighten yourself with the fact that you don't have a leg to stand on, all you can determine is that don't have the position to judge another's character without having surpassed the general populous. You've confused arrogance with ignorance.

And back to my original point, no one views your "worth" the way you do, it's a shame you don't do your profession to help people but rather to rise up in arrogance and feel above people.
User avatar #802 - ashlynnlynn (03/25/2014) [-]
And like I said, people like you can't view my worth, especially over a fast food employee.

Now don't let this hurt your bum or anything, but nobody goes through the schooling I did without a passion. But then again, you didn't do the work, so you wouldn't know ;) just like you don't see your minuscule attempt at an argument.

You're really wanting to push your importance huh, you can remove any position from society and reflect back on how much worse off it would be you illogical fuck.

As much as you want to feel high and mighty, people will never view you the way you're currently viewing yourself.
User avatar #799 - ashlynnlynn (03/10/2014) [-]
People (except my colleagues) can't view me in the same light, they have no concept of the profession. But back to original point, my worth is higher than the minuscule positions that fast employees occupy.

Unless you have a higher standing in society than that of a passing inhabitant, your argument is invalid

User avatar #768 - ashlynnlynn (03/09/2014) [-]
Don't worry, you'll fall into the care of a specialized physician one day, and will be reliant on their expertise and care. When you lose the ability to sustain your life's quality, only then can you understand the importance behind such a prestigious career.

Or you could just kill yourself, it doesn't seem like you care to advance society, but rather live amongst it only feeding off the floor ridin table scraps.

User avatar #508 - jlew (03/08/2014) [-]
Its hard to get a real job dumbass. Real jobs require experience. A lot of it. As in 6 months minimum for just moving one step up from fast food. Not to mention the number of other people who are looking to get a real job as well, your chances of getting the job are pretty slim.
