Yeah, my girlfriend out of nowhere said we should take it slow, and right before that (in the same day) we were having a great time. She also seems different when we chat, like less enthusiastic. We were also asking each other random questions like "What do you like most about me" and that's when she asked "Do you think we can take it slow?". She also said, "If something bad ever happened to us, could we still be friends?" She JUST said prior that something she likes about me is that fact that she feels not easily replaced. I just don't know what to do. This was late at night Sunday. Women are so confusing... If it makes a difference, we are both teenagers (her being a couple years younger than me).

But i think in your case you just gotta let it happen, ya know? If its not meant to be its not...I cant really help ay out much man then to take whats coming. Or maybe sit her down and ask her what is wrong, just confront her before something bad happens?

But what I don't get was on the SAME day, we were kissing/hugging and stuff and she went for the kisses/hugs half the time. Her reasoning for asking to take it slow was because she is my first girlfriend and didn't want me to get into the habit of taking it fast. Should I just try to see if it will blow over? Her ex even said that we are really good for each other. I just don't know what to do. I'm probably gonna talk to my friend who is dating her sister and see what he thinks. It's just this shit happened out of NOWHERE. There were no signs of us disconnecting or anything. For example, she used to greet me (via FB chat) with "BBY!!!" Which is sorta like a parody of baby (if it wasn't already obvious) but now she just says "hey". I know it may be something really insignificant but it's not what I'm used to at all. SHE was also the one to say "I love you" We haven't been dating for too long and she ALREADY said it. Like hot damn man, what is up with this girl.

But I think with your case maybe you're not giving back enough
effection to her, like when she says BBY!! Or I love you, maybe you should be
the one to say it to her first from now on. Show her that you care about her. That should keep her in line. i think.

I did say "I love you too" when we were leaving for the night, we embraced/kissed and we went on our way. I even gave her a bracelet (My mother got it as a souvenir from a vacation) and it had a little heart on it. She said that she would never take it off. And then this happens. I dunno. ya man, its just who knows what goes through girls heads.
I'll tell ya this much. When my gf broke up with me I thought it was
something I did and I got worried and couldn't stop thinking about what i did wrong!
But when she wanted to get back together I asked her why she broke up with me
in the first place and she said she doesnt know and she was stupid or some shit like
that. and she even told me before we broke up that she needed some time. So
if she does break up with you, give it time, she may come back dude ya never
know :) And eh, not really, just felt like saying hi, cuz you're cool :)

I'm also gonna just try to ignore my situation for now and try to meet up with her before she goes on vacation for 2 weeks.
