 The tradition was started during the American Civil War. When we had a blurry enemy to fight. Surprisingly not every conflict in the world is caused by European countries. But I guess if you want to be Pedantic, England was a large part in why we went to war with ourselves. | ||

| you're on a continent, surrounded by water across said water are the bad guys. bad guys can't reach your continent (or invade your enormous country) but can easily reach the neighborhood countries. Western Europe is basically the size of Texas. So it's not hard to wage war there. living on a remote "island" makes war against European countries "easy mode" especially during WWII The tradition was started during the American Civil War.  I haven't really watched TTG, but that definitely looks like it's mocking the original show.  I've seen most of the show. They do directly insult it multiple times. Original is far better. Most people view the original as perfect, but it wasn't as perfect as they remember. It was great, but it had it's flaws. TTG is entertaining, but I and most people would have preferred a continuation rather than a spin-off. #29 -

ssjkirbylols (12/12/2015) [-]  A better example might be Naruto and Naruto SD, in Naruto everyones super serious about everything like 80% of the time but Naruto SD does alot of things to make fun of the main series' mechanics i.e. the MC would put an enemy through a sort of silly skit and act it out with them as part of it sometimes to accomplish whatever then call it "genjutsu" which in the main series is basically the art of putting someone under an illusion where you control their senses and pretty much whatever they see and usually is something pretty grim like them dying or being tortured. On top of this the MC who does this skit-illusion normally can't do genjutsu in the first place. Basically the point I'm trying to make is, it's not Teen Titans, it is intended to be a parody of them, I won't lie and say it's perfect and it DOES have some cringy moments that non-kids might find awkward or annoying but when you stop comparing it to the original and realise this is just a parody with the originals elements it's much easier to enjoy it. And there are some funnier episodes with good comedy like the episode where they attempt to teach Black Fire to be a good sister, or the episode with Robin's face for instance. And honestly, I find the episodes where they make fun of the people who hate the show to be the funniest because they usually go OOC again to try and be like the old ones in a parodied state again. But hey, this is just an opinion coming from a guy who actually finds much comedy in characters doing out of character stuff, and probably is amused by cheesy humor. My problem isn't that I hate it, it's just that it's probably going to get a third season, while Young Justice will not. If they had a serious superhero show running alongside it, I would be fine.  I think Young Justice got canceled due to bad marketing sales. It did good with ratings, but toy sales might have not done so well. Only real "info" we have about the cancellation is that Cartoon Network noticed a lot of girls were watching the show and they didn't want that, according to a talkshow with Kevin Smith with Paul Dini. But, that doesn't seem likely considering the company was founded by a woman in the first place. Although, the only shows that are airing do seem to be more male oriented. Adventure time being the exception given they cater to all audiences. | ||

'cuz I've got the ideas but not the 3D skills to do anything with them. plus the steam workshop supports sharing credit for the projects (wink wink nudge nudge)
