No, rape is up to the woman to decide. Accidents rarely happen. If they do, drive up to another state. We're talking specifically about Texas here.

You're cherry picking there, arisaka. I used it as an adjective. I'm not saying that brutality is the main reason it should be illegal. The fact that an innocent life is taken away is why it should be illegal. Punishing kids because the parents are stupid is wrong.

See, now you're playing a game of definitions. A fetus is not a fully developed human being yet.

And while I myself probably would feel weird aborting a baby past three weeks, I put that aside and realize that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her own body. And besides, I doubt you'll give a shit what kind of life that baby will live outside of the womb. Most of peeps like you (I'll assume you're somewhere on the right, but please correct me if I am wrong) are only pro-life until she shits the baby out. They could starve for all you care.

The point is, people should always have the option. Your moral sentiment should never get in the way of that. And it's just sex. People are going to fuck because it feels good; its been that way since the dawn of time. People have been fucking for fun just as long as they've been fucking out of necessity. Give them the means to do so without severe risks, especially in places where teenage pregnancy is so high.

If you educate people about sex properly, the need for abortions becomes less and less necessary. There's a reason why Canada is having fewer and fewer abortions every year. It's not from slut shaming, I can tell you that. The more open and lassies-faire about sex a culture becomes, the less likely you are to have undercover or unsafe sex which can lead to problems. If you are a conservative, I guess you are all "people are going to still get guns, regardless of if they're legal or not" and the same will go for people having sex or abortions. Making it illegal is just going to make it worse for the women involved.

Stage of development does not matter. If it is a human, it's a human. No matter what size. And don't give me that Canada bullshit, I'm never once had a class on sex-ed, neither anyone else I know in public schools, private or secular. You also perfectly backed up what I said. Whoah there, "is that how christianity works"
not in all denominations it isnt, depends where you go
you go to the catholic church and they'll tell you that christianity is the true way of god/christ but that other religions are a path towards god as well, complete rejection of god has always been a sin however so atheism is a sin.
However you go to the evengelical denominations and some others and they'll all say that their particular form of christianity is the only way forward, and everyone else is going to hell.

Well, the pope thinks atheists can go to heaven, just the vatican doesn't. So it depends on who you want to believe: the guy who is supposedly the embodiment of christ on earth, or his sith lord council.

Good for them, they followed up on something.

This does NOT take away from the fact that they slowly started taking more and more power away from the soviets. They should have taken the PROPER Marxist route and dissolved the power and let the workers councils run things democratically.

Or, let history take its actual course and LET THE COUNTRY ECONOMICALLY DEVELOP LIKE MARX HAD STATED A MILLION TIMES. The proletariat was almost non existent in Russia during the Bolshevik revolution. There were too few factories. Socialism would have never worked there anyways. Lenin couldn't see that. He was an okay dialectical materialist - but a politician he was till the day he fucking croaked.

There was a civil war, there was foreign intervention. Some soviets were turning to the counterrevolutionaries. Measures had to be taken becuase of extraordinary conditions.

The revolution was forced like a bad shit, and you know it.

The only reason the got into power in the first place was because they used the war as leverage. "End the war", they said.

And they did actually end the war, unlike the provisional republic.

Hijacked? The Bolsheviks had mass support. Later, Lenin wrote extensively about the dangers of bureaucracy.

Which is exactly why he consolidated power and took it away from the soviets, right?

You can hijack a revolution because it is fuelled by feelings of love. It's not hard. It's actually happening in Syria right now.

1905, not 1917. Remember that.
