What I'm getting at is that this "concentrated hate" does not exist.
People do hate smokers yes, but it is not "concentrated" it is just that you don't notice the other people getting hated.

People sitting at home playing computer? they're called nerds, losers, shut-ins, no life and they're constantly made fun of as an absolute waste of space and the garbage of society.

I've already given you an example of the hatred for fat people.

I honestly don't see why anyone would hate someone that drinks coffee or soda but there is a very small amount of disgust towards those that drink these beverages from extremely fitness conscience individuals.

Hate for everyone exists, just because you only experience one instance of it does not mean it is the only hate in society.

Reaaallllyy?
You reaaaalllly think people hate fat people less than smokers? are you sure?

I mean unlike smokers where you have several free support to help you quit (quit hotlines) and a legit, working product to help you quit (nicotine patches, vapes, etc) Fat people do not. There is no fat help line and there is no magic product to help you lose weight, all of those on the market are scams.

For fat people to quit they have to exercise, too bad anywhere they go in public to exercise will be met with ridicule. They'll get laughed at gyms and they'll get laughed for jogging in public.

I don't see smokers getting made fun of for trying to quit.

That's beside the point

You could be fat, you could like to drink coffee/soda all day everyday, you could enjoy sitting at your computer for a couple hours everyday, these are all unhealthy choices. All may not be in relative terms with smokings side effects, but are harmful habits that'll cost you money that everyday people do.

The only reason i even did this post was just for what seemed to be a somewhat concentrated hate for a choice i made. I'm not trying to point anyone else's habits and override them as worse than what I'm judged with or vice versa. I'm just a little salty from the harsh judgement

People who call themselves smart generally aren't smart It's so common that we have a name for it, the Dnning-Kruger effect .

As for why people demonize you for smoking well for one everyone knows it's bad for you, this is pretty much a fact that everyone acknowledges even you realize that lung cancer is a likely outcome of continuously smoking. Basically they're calling you stupid for doing something even though you know it's bad for you, kinda like people that cut themselves or something.

Another reason why might be because you inconvenience them, the smell of smoke isn't exactly a pleasant one and you may be inconveniencing others with your habit. It would explain the aggressive tone they're taking.

Look man, I'm not trying to call myself a genius, just that I'm not stupid. And i don't get this kind of feedback personally. I understand and respect the fact that people don't like the smell and i don't intend on taking it to them. It's the shear concept of the choice.

For example, and I'm most likely wrong, you could be an obese individual, one that enjoys his food a bit too much, makes a habit out of it. The fact you've chosen pleasure over health is obvious, yet the feedback on such an individual's choice compared to that of a smokers is less. More people hate smokers than they hate fat people (Not that im saying all fat people eat too much).

Is that so wrong?

It's not them that im dogging on. It's the people that have to absolutely resent smokers. I'm just fine with the friendly people who are just concerned for your well being, even though i may not agree. It's the ones that take the fact that you smoke and try to turn you into a complete idiot with the fact. I for one am relatively smart, yet smoke, so im dubbed a dumbass. I just dont like it
