That happens to everybody at every time of history. People have ALWAYS tried to screw each other over, it's not just today.

I have a feeling you are just completely ignoring parts of my posts. On what grounds can you claim that it's harder now than it was then? You say that they had an advantage because computers were just being developed, but there are plenty of sunrise industries out there now that can and will become billion dollar companies (see ZUCKERBERG!) with the same "ease" that Gates became a billionaire. The internet has afforded a huge number of people the opportunity to create vast amounts of wealth. With the technology now, it is much easier to create products (both digital and physical) that people will buy.

How the hell you think it is harder is beyond me.

Agreed. As if there is a limit to creating things or something haha. The possibilities are LITERALLY endless.

Well, asswipe, I don't have an account, so yes I'm anon. Well no shit it's hard to do, it was hard to do back then too. Did you think it was just candy and roses for Bill Gates? Also, you are taking a lot of liberties with your comparison of the difficulty now vs the difficulty then of forming a billion dollar empire. Have you read Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell? He talks about the shit ton of hardwork that Bill Gates put into create Microsoft. If anything, Zuckerberg made his fortune much easier than Gates...

What really distinguishes these people is their devotion to something that everyone else overlooks, there are plenty of other billion-dollar companies waiting to be founded, but if I knew what they were, I'd be a billionaire wouldn't I?

You are an idiot. Did Mark Zuckerberg really invent Facebook that long ago? No. There is a world of opportunity out there and it's people like you that try to limit the capabilities of mankind. Ingenuity is often not the product of knowledge, it is cleverness that produces the impossible. Liberate your mind from the educational paradigm; there are countless inventions that we don't yet know we want.

It's kind of weird to say that this is a hard time to invent things.
There's never an end to invention, ever.
