Not at all, I know people who mosh who are never agressive, they just do it because thats what they want to do when they listen to the music, the music that people mosh to are ones with a heavy beat, which doesnt just apply to metal. Ive been to rap concerts and electonic concerts where people have moshed too, so dont generalise a universal thing down to one specific genre. Have you ever even been to a concert before?

I am speaking about (not for) an attitude of specific people I don't like. The apparent multitudes of metal fans who pride themselves on being a perfect upstanding citizen even though they listen to something as extreme as metal. I find that type of person to be bullshit.

Someone's music taste has nothing to do with how they act as a person. Look how many spoilt brats listen to music like Hannah Montana, a girl who sings songs about being nice and friendly.

Music taste and social skills are almost entirely independent of each other.

The point of the mosh pit and aggressive moods of metal is not to inflict injury. Injury is merely a badge of honor, I went here it was crazy I got an injury but I fuckin' kept going.
