The begging for war from the US growing the local hatred.

I'd say it would be the radicalization of the Islamic minority. And for once we have mainstream media sensationalism to thank for something, because if there's something sensationalism is good at it's culturally isolating things.

Waves of refugees, diversion of society through imported foreign cultures, etc
User avatar #69752 - youregaylol (09/22/2014) [-]
The only real threats that I can imagine are terror attacks and the radicalizing of Islamic minorities, turning them into homegrown terrorists.

In a conventional war they would pose no threat.
User avatar #69754 - anonycunt (09/22/2014) [-]
Before 9/11 happened there where about 6 mosques i believe that where spreading and teaching radicalization. Do you think this is happening now in Mosques in the USA. Honestly im all for religious freedom and privacy but i think we need some security in suspicious mosques. Especially those that have members with beards and no mustaches. That is a symbol of radicalism.

You are being too impartial. Whatever opinions you possess are overshadowed by such "respect."

Respect Israel, for they have a purpose and "history," just like any other state. Respect Turkey, because they are merely pursuing their interests.

What of the composition, or quality? Do Israel's wants coincide with prosperity for the Levant? Has Turkey's role in Syria secured a future for the country, or has it brought about deep regression?
#69704 - Ken M (09/22/2014) [-]
Turkey has bad history with their kurds as far as I know.

The radical rebels aren't a problem in in Turkey duo Turkey being one if not the most of the most important gateways for radicals from all over the world into Syria.

It's deluded for a Lebanese to hold a negative opinion of the country whose existence has only inflamed civil tensions amongst Arab peoples?

Anonycunt is the deluded one. He should read about how Israel discarded its Christian servitors, like trash, after the withdrawal. What makes him so adept at understanding a Zionist's "ancient" claim to Palestine, when his people are natives to the same land? It's cuckoldry which one might expect from a dual citizen, who has spent most of his life in the United States.

Sleep paralysis. I was aiming for lucid dreaming but fucked something up. Body tensed up as expected. Couldn't move. Surprising lengthy silence. I was expecting fireworks or a parade or some trippy light show but nah. Just blackness and quiet.
Until I heard the panting.
It was about a foot high, and maybe a foot away from my head. I immediately recognised it as a hallucination (thanks, /x/) and started struggling hard against my own body. I wanted a lucid dream, not this shit. I was more impatient than frightened at that point.
Which apparently, it didn't agree with.
Suddenly, the breathing was right. in. my. ear. And FAST. And LOUD. And I maybe shat the bed a little. Immediately, my impatient wriggling turned into a wild frenzy. I could almost hear the glee in the thing's voice as it panted. And then it picked me up.
And threw me across the room.
For a VERY long time, I was shaken and battered like a broked doll. My head hit the ceiling a few times.
When I woke up I cried. Hard.

Whenever i have a nightmare, well i wouldnt call it a nightmare cuz i love those scary dreams. Anyways when i wake up from them, i always tense up and feel pinned down and cant move as if something is holding me down. And i always see these things approach me abd sometimes hurt me...Yes i can FEEL them and i am wide awake. Sometimes it is demon like creatures and sometimes its like random things like creepy little kids from horror movies. The weird part is when i tell them to go...they go.. So fucking realistic 9/10 would be haunted again

Not the scariest but the most profound experience I had happened just a few weeks ago. I was watching a documentary and they were talking about mass suicides in the closing days of WWII in Japan. When they said that I had this... Vision? Hallucination? I'm not sure what I would call it but I felt as if for a brief moment I was torn from my body and standing on a cliff, looking over my little sister's shoulder at the crashing waves and rocks at the bottom. I could swear I felt the wind on my face and the smell of seawater, heard the waves crashing on the rocks below. My sister turned and said what I assume was "I love you" and I responded in kind.

I then pushed her off the cliff to her death. I looked to the person behind me, my mother, and my father standing behind her, tears in their eyes. I let out a deep sigh and said What I assume to be "I love you". She then kissed me on the cheek, I faced the open sea and took a deep breath. A moment later I felt a rough shove on my shoulders and I was over. I fell for a few seconds, heart racing and adrenaline flooding my body like nothing I had ever felt. I felt the wind fly by as I plummeted to my death.

When I hit the rocks everything went black and I felt as if I was harshly thrown into this body. My heart was beating so fast I thought it was going to explode. Adrenaline was rushing through my veins.

Anyone else had this happen to them/know what might explain that?

I saw an exorcism in front of me, in a crowd with lots of people around.
Shit was pretty scary (it wasn't as exaggerated as it is in movies, but 5 hulky bodyguards tried holding down a feeble old lady and could barely manage...).

I used to live in Southwest Connecticut and after sobering up after a party in New Canaan I decided to leave with a girl who lived nearby at the time and needed a ride. Around 4:30 AM I dropped her off and headed back home. I stopped by a really wooded area since I had a shit ton of water because fuck hangovers (Fun fact tangent: Drink 1 cup of water for every 1 shot/beer/margarita/whatever and you wont ever get a hangover). It was starting to get light enough to see but not light enough to actually wanna be up and about. While peeing, I hear a weird,I guess the word is a gurgling, kind of like a boomer from L4D but SUPER distorted. I look out into the woods, and while peeing I started smelling something AWFUL. Now I've smelt some pretty strange shit but NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING organic or artificial could fucking create a smell this horrific and terrible. Imagine the worst amount of garbage you've ever smelt and times that by 60. It was absolutely horrible. I then saw.... I dont fucking know.... it. It was a worm like creature and it walked like a fucking crab and it had 6 small, stubby but noticeable legs. The sun was just peaking out and while I stood there, zipping up my pants with one hand and breathing HEAVILY through my mouth and holding my nose, it kept gurgling and eventually it look like it turned to me. For a good 10 seconds it fucking stopped gurgling and I held my breathe those entire ten seconds and I froze so hard. It then went looked forward and up into the sky and it screeched before burrowing itself into the ground like a fucking chapter straight out of the book of the gobi dessert worm. I fucking booked it afterwards and to this day I havent seen the thing. I kept going back for 2 weeks at the same time, ~4:45 AM whenever I could because I was just so frightened but curious. I found the next day in the same area it stood a bunch of slimed up and extremely shiny dead leaves but instead of the smell I encountered, it smelled of vanilla and lilac
