I'll say this to you now, but there are so few romance anime that is a 5/10 or above that it's sad on Japan's end, being Toradora, Golden Time, Yosuga no Sora, Amagami SS, your aforementioned Clannad, and Nagi no Asukara (School Days too if the execution matters to you, and how much you like MCs who'll **** anything with a hole).
You'd really be best off with manga and visual novels for romance. For manga, which I haven't read much of, I'd recommend Sore wa Totsuzen Unmei no Aite ga, and Bonnouji. VNs, I'd say reread Clannad since it's better than the anime, If My Heart Had Wings, Hoshizora no Memoria, Grisaia no Kajitsu, Rewrite, and Little Busters.
