I wasn't referring to the porn. I was permabanned for posting a harmless comment on one of his threads, without being warned beforehand, and many suffered a similar fate. Even so, to suddenly blow up and announce for the first time how posting porn in profiles isn't okay, and ban people for something they did way before even knowing about it, is ridiculous.

He has never taken action about it before, so if people who don't read the terms and services assume it's all right, who can blame them? Also, instead of terminating accounts left and right, he could simply change it so that anons can't access profiles, thus making them nsfw and fine to have porn in them. When the same bug is being reported for months without anything happening about it, thus forcing users to post .gifs on their profiles just so they won't have them automatically flagged when wanting to use them in a nsfw board, it becomes a big problem.
What I said was that he could simply change it so that only users can access profiles. He has no intention of changing it like that.
Like I said, he never enforced the rule to begin with, so clearly it wasn't harming him.
Here's what he should have done:
1. Inform us of the rule
2. Warn users guilty of having porn on their profiles to get rid of it as soon as possible, or suffer a temporary ban for a more serious warning.
3. If said user still doesn't do anything about it, terminate the account.

Instantly perma-banning without warning or notice is ridiculous and dickish.
