To be fair, I thumbed down both. I don't hate any religion, I just hate when people get on their high horse. Atheists do it all the time and so do Christians and so do certain people of any belief system.

Don't say that, man. That's just as stupid and ignorant as stupid Christian anti-atheist remarks. The Bible is one of, if not the, best selling books in the world.

To say that the Bible isn't written gracefully is a lie. I agree that it does contain many antiquated rules, especially in the old testament (Leviticus, I'm looking at you), but you could essentially say "fuck the torah". Or can you? No, that'd be anti-Semitic, wouldn't it?

Therein lies the double standard. When someone is an anti-Semite, they are against all the 3 middle eastern religions- Judaism, Islam, and yes, Christianity.

Now I understand being an atheist is the cool thing now on the internet. I'm not going to deny that atheists are right on some accounts (evolution, gay marriage, et. al), and I agree that homosexuality is NOT a sin, but I'm going to say that I'm a Christian at heart. I do believe in some omnipotent divine force that has its hand in events of the macrocosm, regardless of how it can't be proven with science.

It's all faith, and if you've got a problem with that, then I've got a problem with your hypocrisy, in that if Christians refute atheists, they're idiotic, but if atheists refute Christianity, that's all fine and dandy. It's the same thing, and saying something as offensive as "fuck the bible" is just like an atheist saying "fuck evolution" or "fuck homosexuality".
