in Norway we dont get too much devestation from even hurricane force storms due to solid build of our housing and seeing as our terrain is very mountainous if there is flooding it's very contained...

i remember one time it flooded in Winnipeg when i got there... my grandpa insisted on keeping on driving as it was a fairly tall pickup... luckilly my mother managed to convince him to pull up to higher ground... the only vehicles that got through that was semi's
