It's still the best work of animation i have ever seen up till now in matter of hand drawn animation. It's the most notable and turnpoint anime in western history as Akira was the first great japanese movie to bring anime on the world map. The story's amazing, the manga is better but the movie does it justice still beautifully. It's pretty damn good and a cult god tier classic.

I don't want to sound like I dick, but whenever you mention Mononoke Hime/Princess Mononoke from now on, you might want to call it the full name because there is another anime named just Mononoke and if someone meant to go look it up they might get confused.
