Rei (05/17/2013) [-] I have a PS2 to PC adaptor, but with Pokemon I can stand using the Keyboard, mainly because I haven't had a Gameboy besides the original one. I like emulators because 1 the battery in the cartridge won't ever run out so in 15 years time I'll still have my save and 2 you can run the emulator at 300% speed so you can speed up the rate that text appears on the screen. Because normal speed is so slow. My team are all about the same level. I think Gendo is 28 Asuka is 28 Shinji is 25 and Shiki is 21.  #77690

yyh ONLINE (04/05/2013) [-] Oh man Andyyy, I'm finishing my re-watch of Hajime no Ippo and I just got to the start of the Sendo-Ippo fight. The last 20 seconds of episode 71 when Ippo leads with the Dempsey roll and pounds Sendo has got me all tingly. I love Hajime no Ippo because it has aspects of reality but yet with the inhuman level of stamina and the steam that appears whenever they hit hard/move quick I'm reminded of the super power/martial arts stuff I used to watch.

Remove the steam from the punches and you get basically any big PPV fight on HBO
Not only does the fight gets you pumping, it keeps you on the edge of your seat
Mix that crazy action in the ring and the hilarious comedy outside of the ring and real life situations of boxers and you get one hell of a show
my first time watching it was a fucking blast, when i did my rewatch i knew my opinion was gonna change because since then my anime powerlevel has rose
And my opinion changed for the better and instantly became my favorite anime
My second time watching i still experienced the thrills as the first time, the jokes were funny as ever
God i love this series

Its a shame Knuckles Chaotix gets the hate that it does. First Off its on the 32X which nobody played with and its...boring. There are no enemies in the levels and the stage design loops.
Metal Sonic Kai is fucking badass looking though. And if you dont collect the 6 Chaos Rings you get the shit ending of Metal Sonic Kai incinerating a city.

No two special stages are alike but it borrows from the Sonic 2 formula a bit. some of the special stages look like wire frames, some you could be falling from a 3D perspective IE Sonic Advence, some even look like the special stages from Sonic 3D Blast

BrainScratchComs a Co-operative group of "gaming nerds" did a 50 part Lets Play of Sonic 06 which I found rather enjoyable. they played it as best as they could, they enjoyed Shadow's storyline, found Silver's Gameplay to be monotonous, and the love story between Sonic and Elise to be bullshit
When they began their Lets Play on Shadow the Hedgehog they said the game was worse than Sonic 06 because the game is boring. They said the reason why Sonic 06 is a better worse game than Shadow is because if gamers are given a shit game by accident and for whatever reason still have the urge to play it they would rather be frustrated than bored

They may be right about some things they may be right about most things but the way they worded that logic...I shut down my computer lied in my bed and stared at the ceiling for 2 minutes.

However what makes his platforming fun is that he is running at 100MPH that and their is sometimes puzzle mechanics and thrilling boss fights and what not

I'm not really waiting for any of those reboots, really if anything from that list i would like to see an Updated version for Xbox Live like all the other Saturn games they've been doing so far
I dont think we'll ever see a SA3, the game formula changed too much, i wouldn't want to see them try and reuse an old formula when they basically have their current formula solid, even if they did use the current game mechanics for SA3 it wouldn't even feel like an Adventure game

Pro's: Erazor Jinn should be a DLC boss for Sonic Generations I love him as a villain. Also Sand Opolis as a DLC level in Generations. I also want Night Palace as a theme song. The Story is pretty good and the 2 actual Cut-Scenes in the game look good for being a Wii game.
Con: Sonic + Motion Controls = just no. Controlling Sonic in Secret Rings is no where near as strenuous as moving him in 06 (despite me having a morbid hard on for 06) and the side missions make the missions in Shadow and Sonic 06 look massesly inferior in terms of repetition.
Multi-Player is tacked on. Its like they took the concept of Sonic Shuffle and just added it into the game along with Silver, Shadow, Rouge, Amy, and Omega.

Also the cutscenes are better than the sonic adventure ones namely because the voice work and music are insync. in SA1 and SA2 the music was so loud the audio was tuned out.
