| I guess Tale of Two Wastelands just replaces Fallout 3's rifle model with New Vegas' model with all the iron sights not being a thing in Fallout 3. Shame, still, feels good being able to buy a scope from Moira early on after you gain a few caps and getting a nice makeshift sniper. Just went and checked it, you're right. .32 ammo is no longer a thing in TTW. Even the .32 Pistol got rechambered for .22 in that mod. I guess that explains it, it just merges the two weapons into one. Scrap that then, you can get a full size sniper rifle early in the game. Not sure how I feel about that, but then again, all the super mutants, raiders and their mothers have one too. | ||

| The hunting rifle is so good early game with it's solid damage and accuracy combined with the cheap and plentiful ammo. I still use it late game just because it feels so right, almost like it was thrown together out of scrap, as opposed to the NV hunting rifle that just looked like an old rifle The hunting rifle is the shit early on. Keeps raiders, ghouls and super mutants right where they should be. On the ground... Dead... Feels great to use too. Sadly I eventually end up ditching it since Super Mutant Masters, Power Armor and all those bullet sponge enemies added by Broken Steel can just about eat .32 bullets forever. By then I already paid the Evergreen Mills raiders a visit and the Terrible Shotgun is just too tempting not to use. Anyway I though the models were practically the same between both games. I might be wrong since nowadays all I play is a highly modded Tale of Two Wastelands version of New Vegas. | Yeah, that's another one I always grab on Moira's quest. There's a whole load of molerats there that are useful for testing the repellent stick. Still, even a fully repaired sniper rifle will break in less than 100 shots and .308 ammo is rare early on. The hunting rifle or the assault rifle are a better choice for a main weapon at that time, while saving the sniper rifle to shoot down the occasional brute.
