It should be legalized so we can regulate how it is grown, sold, and taxed. Raise the tax on it to the same level as alcohol and tobacco. In the Chicago area, the combined taxes from state and city make the tax on cigarets about $3 per pack. That would be great. Boost revenue in the states quite a bit.

Back in one my old houses in Miami Lakes, FL, the house had like....a really old intercom system. There was one in each bedroom, the kitchen, and outside the front door. In fact, every house in the neighborhood had it. I think it's just an old concept that never really went nationwide. My house wasn't even in a rich people's neighborhood either. Just a normal suburb. $222 grand when we sold it.

It went throughout the entire house. The bedrooms are one of the more trafficed areas. It was useful if you couldn't find someone for a while. $1.5M+ houses tend to be large enough that it is useful instead of trying to find someone for 15 mins.
