That sound like something a king made up so his men would fight to the death and he could potentially live.

That's pretty rich, considering the fight that the French put up DESPITE being German-occupied territory, the French government called on people to oppose the Germans any way they could, but surrendering to them was a political move to try and stem the slaughter of civilians when faced by a stronger foe.

Calling the French cowardly is just bullshit, we were all ALLIES in that war it was not "America vs the World".

And this is coming from an Australian.

I would say terrorism is pretty cowardly
They surrendered and did essentially what the terrorists do now, only ambushes and random killings
Sure it was against nazis, but its still pretty damn cowardly

So being smart is being a coward now ?

Smart things tend to be cowardly
If you got to choose between fighting a 250 pound mma fighter who is likely to kill you or a pregnant woman, the smart choice would be the woman, but it would also be cowardly

...That sounds like a network issue to me.

Your connection is bad so it takes the server longer to act (move character, fire gun, etc) after your action (WASD, L click, etc)
#27 - anon (07/07/2016) [-]
The server can also just be experiencing performance issues and be unable to keep a steady pace of game state updates.

Both "network lag" and "input lag" are real things. "Network lag" is the type described above. "Input lag" is a delay between your actions and the interpretation of those actions.

Network lag can sometimes create artificial input lag - you click someplace, your click travels to the server and back, and then your character moves once the server says it has rather common in League of Legends, and famously DPS-lowering in World of Warcraft - but there are situations in which the movement of your mouse or press of a key may take many milliseconds to be processed by your PC, because it's preoccupied with rendering graphics, or calculating vectors, or really anything. It's another sign that your PC, or controls in some cases, may be "ghetto".

Except it doesn't have to be. For instance I once had an issue where my mouse input was really delayed playing Skyrim. It was running at 60 FPS but the mouse itself had lag.
