now that i've watched No Game No Life i think there are laws (not laws by government but more like natural laws) in the pokemon world which basicly force you to do that when you lose a pokemon battle.

It doesn't necessarily work the same as our ecosystems. Groudon and Kyogre created the land and ocean respectively, Rayquaza keeps the peace between them. So by summoning Groudon, they could effectively create more land. His ability is Drought, he stops rain and makes it very bright and sunny. So the only one that could stop him is Rayquaza and Kyogre. Which don't really come into play in the main storyline so yeah

Yeah, we're about 40 minutes from it but we don't go there unless we have to, and aside from some exhibition centers and the space needle, it's ehh. I don't remember the name of the place we went to, but I don't remember there being too many eastern restaurants so it's probably not too hard to find. Space needle's pretty awesome though, if heights don't bother you. Part of it is a giant disc-shaped restaurant at the top that rotates very slowly and lets you see all kind of awesome shit.
And I've heard of Homeward but haven't looked into it really. Is it like Katawa Shoujo without the cripples?
