The first season was great. It's just that Season 2 was horrible except for 2 episodes, and that was because the people who usually make the episodes had other business to attend to.

That's kind of a shallow assumption. The Souls series all have a Dark Fantasy theme (and a solid 90% of Fantasy-themed games include Dragons somewhere), adding Dragons into the mix simply pays homage to the genre. I doubt I'm alone in having this mindset, but whenever I pick up a fantasy-themed game, I'd be disappointed if it didn't include Dragons.

#522 - Penn (05/25/2014) [-]
I think a lot of people see it as unethical. All I was saying was that OP comparing abortion to murdering a pregnant woman wasn't a good example. When you kill a pregnant woman, you don't get two counts of murder. If you're in the US, only a select amount of states have a law where they can try you for two counts of murder, but you don't get charged for the murder of the woman and murder of the baby in every state. And, it's not perfectly okay for someone to kill their developing baby. That's the entire argument.

Then, OP says it's not okay for someone else to 'murder' it, like saying it's not actually murder, yet he stating previously that abortion was, in fact, murder.

OP just made a bad argument and used crappy examples on the abortion part.

Personally, I see it as unethical as well, but I see abortion as a valid option. I don't think that makes me a hypocrite. Unethical, at least to me, is different from morals/values.
User avatar #610 - alltimetens (05/26/2014) [-]
Actually, every, if not, almost every state has the double murder standard. So as long as killing a pregnant woman accounts for two murders, then abortion is also murder in it of itself.

We all have our problems bud.

Some more than others.

Some less than others.

Some can take more. Like yourself (Good on you working hard.)

Some can't. We aren't all the same. So a little sleep now and then. Or being tired is alright. It's natural. Besides like Jeremy says it does get harder every so many years and it doesn't help some of the curriculum in schools is fucked.

But I understand your viewpoint as well. Just don't say no excuses. Some people have things they can't help bud.

well you also have to factor in these kids chores and jobs, some families have chores for days as well as horrible jobs these teens have. i remember when i was in school i fell asleep in my first couple periods because i wasnt asleep til like 2 or 3 in the morning, cuz after going to work straight after school then not getting off til like 11 if i was lucky, then coming home changing the litter, unloading and loading the dishwasher, wiping off all the counters and table tops and sweeping, then getting in the shower, to finally sit down and do my homework from like 7 classes. then wake up at 6 to repeat the process(didnt mean to rant, just remembering those days though made me get a little irritated lol)

I'd agree with you if it were the ,ajority of teens that were suffering from the predicaments you were mentioning.

It just so happens that 99.9% of said teens that constantly complain about how difficult the school system is are just idiots that slept at 5 AM.

Well yes.

But coming from a guy who went through some shit but will be getting his advanced diploma.

I'd feel better not writing all of them off as being lazy.

I'd rather take both sides into consideration.

I appreciate you listening to me and not badgering me down like some people would.

you do realise school gets harder every couple of generations. what you learned in say eleventh grade say about 4 generations later their learning that shit in like 10th 9th or 8th grade depending on if their in honors, collegebound, or average class levels
User avatar #96 - alltimetens (05/23/2014) [-]
I took AP classes and I graduated in 2010, which was less than 4 years ago. I don't see how the education system changed that much.
#103 - jeremybenden (05/23/2014) [-]
well you also have to factor in these kids chores and jobs, some families have chores for days as well as horrible jobs these teens have. i remember when i was in school i fell asleep in my first couple periods because i wasnt asleep til like 2 or 3 in the morning, cuz after going to work straight after school then not getting off til like 11 if i was lucky, then coming home changing the litter, unloading and loading the dishwasher, wiping off all the counters and table tops and sweeping, then getting in the shower, to finally sit down and do my homework from like 7 classes. then wake up at 6 to repeat the process(didnt mean to rant, just remembering those days though made me get a little irritated lol)
User avatar #125 - alltimetens (05/23/2014) [-]
Yeah... I had to work in my alcoholic dad's store in which I had literally no free time on the weekends. There is no excuse.

Might be an odd thing to say, but you might want to join Tumblr. A lot of us are actually males who enjoy certain fandoms and have deep discussions about them, especially with Yu Yu Hakusho.

Might I suggest Kill La Kill or HunterXHunter? The latter apparently takes place in the future of Yu Yu Hakusho. Of course, Inuyasha is said to take place in the past, with Kikyo being Raizen's original daughter.
User avatar #147 to #146 - alltimetens (04/07/2014) [-]
Damn... I better get watching.
User avatar #148 to #147 - zafara (04/07/2014) [-]
Go for Inuyasha first. I feel like Yu Yu Hakusho took a lot from that show. "Ooohhh we're losing viewers during the Dark Tournament, better show them Kurama's true form!" Fricken love child of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha (Which given Sesshomaru's mother isn't entirely out of the question even though they are a different species). Also, character types for both Toguro brothers, Bui, Karasu, and others were in that show.

By the way, there is a user named Toguro here, but they aren't named after this Toguro.

You like telling everyone that don'tcha?
User avatar #151 to #150 - zafara (04/17/2014) [-]
Well, we were talking about Toguro anyway. You usually pop up whenever Toguro is mentioned, so I wanted to let him know that you would probably show up. I also wanted to warn him that you don't really watch the show and named yourself Toguro after something else so that they didn't ask you questions about Yu Yu Hakusho you don't know.

Basically, I wanted to save some time by warning him that while you have the name, you don't know the show.

You know what I'm trying to say?
