I agree with you completely. Although it is ignorant to think one higher being could not have possibly have created the universe and everything in it, it is highly unlikely that it was. I'm a Christian myself, but my faith is battered down by Science, and I think that the constant battle between the two is unnecessary, since I have created a comprimise.

And again, I agree with you. You cannot witness an Earthquake and then say it was God. It's been proven scientifically that it is due to The Mantle, and Continental Drift.

I mean like ultimately, there is no proof either way, ofcourse there's evidence, but never any physical proof. So throughout history, and towards the future, there's always going to be non believers and believers and people who like to insinuate fighting.
There's always going to be great people who let others be, and horrid people who force their customs on others, but that is just the way Humanity works.

You have people like yourself, and then you have people like WBC. Same Religion (Supposedly) Completely different viewpoints.

Same goes for Atheism, you have Totalitarian Societies which do not Tolerate Religion at all, and then you have your regular every day atheist who doesn't mind that people have different views than them.

Ultimately, I see the bible as Moral stories, and ways of explaining things to the Archaic Man, when there really was no other explanation. Honestly, that's what faith is, believing in something regardless of its existence. Of course, people don't know that God is there, or that he's not, but believing in him, regardless of his presence, is the point. And yet Day after Day Aggressive Atheists try to disprove every last Religious Text, by pointing out Scientific Fallacies.
It's a bit retarded if you ask me.
