Pure speed never killed anyone, and we don't have the technology to go fast enough for the speed itself to kill anyone. Turning at high speed, accelerating and decelerating is what kills.

I'm pretty sure that you can't actually go that fast without a pod made specifically for that purpose. And if you're going that fast without a pod, you'd break apart because of wind resistance slowing you down, again killing you by deceleration.

Well, you have to be travelling in some sort of medium - If its in air or vacum doesnt really matter. You have to understand that acceleration and deceleration are parts of the concept "speed". You cant have speed without accelerating.
