- Sentinel Site. It's in the glowing sea.
- A good idea would to be to watch the first episode of Volume 3…
rwby and onion.
I actually think the animation and was better in the first two volumes. The fight scenes in Volume 1 and 2 though, are INFINITELY superior, which is why I got into it in the first place. Volume 3 fight scenes are fucked to shit now that Monty is gone.
- You called?
- So...Shouldn't Tracer be jumping around time at random?
Isnt the rig mostly for controlling the jumping and utilizing it? Id imagine she would wanna take it off sometimes. I could imagine some sort of deterioration period after the device is removed, before she starts skipping randomly again. Possibly enough time for a jaunty skip down to the beach?
Yup, she doesnt have the collar.
- Is there really a large population of Americans that don't kno…
Takei on Internment Camps
Most of America isn't taught about Wall street playing both sides of the war for 3 years before getting involved. (or the fact they outright refused to get involved until the war flopped into pearl) (or the fact without America, Russia would've likely taken Berlin anyway)
Most of America is taught the Pilgrims came to the Americas to avoid religious persecution.
The american education system is... questionable. As is the selection of which history is taught.
I don't think that point about Russia is fully-accurate.
I'm not trying to give us more credit than we already get, after all, the Eastern Front undoubtedly was where the Wehrmacht was broken. However, without lend-lease support, I seriously doubt that the Russians could have maintained an offensive all the way into Germany. They just lost too much material in the opening stages, and didn't have the resources to amass both the fighting vehicles and the transports that it would have taken to do so within a reasonable time period.
In the end, I'd expect the Germans to have collapsed after outrunning their supply lines, while the Soviets push them back a ways before stopping so they don't do the same.
Then it would either grind on for years like WWI, with one or both sides falling to political turmoil, ending the war
although, Hitler's insistence on a war of extermination would have probably led to the war continuing so long as he was in power
, or it would temporarily end, with partisan resistance from the occupied countries weakening Germany enough for the Soviets to come back later and mop up.
tl;dr The Soviets certainly paid the higher price, but it would have been much,
uglier without American support, and while they may have been able to reach Berlin eventually, it's certainly not a sure thing.
According to my college history prof., they didn't teach this when he went to school (he's like 74) because of how embarrassed the U.S. was by it, so I'm not surprised considering schools in the 50s and 60s didn't teach it.
Only reason I learned about it in high school was because I had a teacher that was insistent we get the whole story, since the textbooks made America look like it didn't do anything bad over the course of history. Most kids these days don't know much at all about the real history of the United States, because most teachers anymore just want to teach straight from the textbook (or, in some cases, are required to).
I'm pretty sure all U.S. history and politics textbooks at least make significant mention of the internment of Japanese.
I've really not met anybody above sixth grade who isn't aware of the camps we had for the Japanese
Most people know this
To say most don't is an exaggeration at the very least

Sorry, but I think it was more not mentioned than not hidden. I learned about more of ww2 in Japan and the pacific than most, and i never learnt about that
A bit like people like to talk about how the Spanish armada got "burned" by the brits but no one mentions the English armada which was sent as a counter to Spain but got hit by disease and the counter failed.
