Also, did you like Dwemer ruins more in Morrowind or Skyrim? I preferred the former, they looked like places they would live in. While the latter looked like elaborate traps and nothing more. Guess Beth got lazy and followed the same trope as with Ayleids in Oblivion. Their ruins too looked nothing more than traps. I can't remember if there even was any furniture in Ayleid ruins, aside from those used by bandits squatting in there. In Skyrim there were tables and beds in Dwemer ruins, but it still looked like what I just described.

Dwemer ruins in Morrowind were the best, especially the ones underneath Mournhold. It really did feel like an underground city, while the Skyrim ruins felt like gauntlets meant to test people, or at most, workshops, testing facilities, and gathering halls.

Oh my, that does look gorgeous. Almost reptilian like. Way better than the silly Morrowind glass armor. And it actually looks like an armor too. What we had in TES3 looked more like a piece of clothing taken straight out of a Tim Burton's movie. Lean, lanky, bizarre.

As for Skywind, well. I'm not really a fan of the idea. Different mechanics, different approach to gathering information among the NPC and so on. I don't think it really matches. More of a Morrowind Overhaul fan myself, I only wish my craptop could handle it.

Also, Azura and Hircine were so much cooler than in later games. Granted, they were given more importance, but still. Especially the Oblivion Azura, that was a huge let down.

Might just tide me over until Fallout 4. I agree completely, though, that Azura and Hircine were so much cooler in Morrowind, but they were also huge points of focus. Sheogorath in the Shivering Isles was a total goddamn boss, and he's 'meh' in Skyrim.

I've been replaying Morrowind recently, until my duties with the uni overwhelmed me. But I too feel like coming back. It's overwhelming at times, there's always something to do if you play your character right. Once I'm done with everything I'll either finish the game with my current Imperial (I still have Redoran and main quest to finish, as well as untouched Bloodmoon) or go with a fresh Breton-mage like character, we'll see.

Yeah, Sheo was very much meh in Skyrim, but the daedric quests were pretty fun overall. Skyrim put Herma Mora as the daedra to focus on, but it didn't work as well as in the case of Hircine and Sheogorath imo.

Thanks for reminding me, I've been itching to make a real Redoran character for a while. I had fun with that way back when and wanted to try again. As a show of gratitude, have the RAREST Pepe.
