well, a bunch of people see homosexuality as gross. i see that as some kind of illness, and as any other ill persons that have to live with it, homos should be accepted into the society, because they can contribute to the humanity no less than straight persons, and do no damage to it. but acting like: HEY, IM GAY, LOOK AT MY FABULOUSNESS! ... i dunno, but thats not normal for sure.

I would like to point out that religion is not accepted everywhere either. There are "ignorant" people that look down on it because it's "not normal", and one could make an argument over the last topic as well. I think the main point is, don't be a dick to other people. That's the golden rule, don't hate on somebody because of their religion, their sexuality, their race, etc.

Ya, I stand by my motto that "if it ain't harming, don't be hating". For example, I have no problem with most religious people, since it is what makes them happy, and they are not harming anyone by going to church/mosque/etc. However, if a Christian will start trying to shove his beliefs down my throat or saying that everyone except Christians are retarded, then It's not OK.

im not american, but anyway, i think that you just cant be proud of your sexuality. its a private thing. like that saying that religion is like a penis (its good to have one, but dont shove it down other peoples throats). i believe its the same with sexuality.

The difference is that Homosexuality is not accepted everywhere, and there are some ignorant people who look down upon it because they say it is not normal. Gays just don't want to be looked upon as not normal or people who should stay hidden. But in the end, it comes down to "are they harming you in any way"? I don't think these parades hurt anyone, as they are meant to spread the joy of living and living your own life, and not pretending to be something you're not.
