It works both ways. Religion was around way before this scientific mumbo jumbo. Your logic goes both ways. Get your head out of your ass.

No, because I do not have a absolute answer for everything through the use of science. If they ask me how something came to be we can look at peer reviewed evidence and answer the question. If I am unable to answer the question that will not mean that a god exists. I never even have to deny the existence of a god I just don't have to believe there is one.

I have no idea where all these creationists are, because in my 23 years of life I have never met one even though like 46% of the U.S. is supposedly creationist.

Just because you don't know where they "are" doesn't mean they don't exist. I avoid them like the plague.

Oh. Well, that's the context of my first post, and it is the extent of my argument.

On an aside, simply because guns are capable of killing more people than knives does not mean they are inherently bad or deserve to get banned. All tools can be used for both good and bad in the hand of the citizens and the government. Guns are designed to do one thing, fire high-velocity lead at something. What that something is is up to the person holding the weapon.

Where exactly? You're little slice of developed country? Talk about wrong. The world is a big place, it's not about one country it's about all of them, by analyzing them on individual and geopolitical scales the picture becomes much clearer. On the subject of economics things are, quite frankly, horrific, recessions are often periodic in nature, but the cycle shouldn't be so close, but there are reasons for this, much having to do with laws and policies passed in the United States in the past 60 years or so.

Things are worse than ever before, because more poeple are alive than ever before, and even developed countries are highly corrupt. It's bad. By god is it bad. If you look at the numbers, and understand how everything is connected, shit man.

This is definitely an unpopular opinion, because most poeple are just unaware and uneducated on the subject, not to mentioned misinformed.

#5 - what would you rate it out of 10?  [+] (2 new replies) 03/31/2014 on agentpurplek's profile 0
User avatar #6 - Lilstow (03/31/2014) [-]
i struggle with scales out of 10 because i feel like 10 defines perfection which is obviously impossible, but i will attempt to break it down and give it a rating based on a frame of reference.

i wouldn't say it's quite as good as gurren lagann, but i think it's probably the strongest anime of the year. i would rate it on par with attack on titan, which i enjoyed for the fantastic animation, fight choreography, and macro story/premise, however was weaker in terms of character development. Kill La Kill has much stronger characters, and is probably a generally more intelligent anime then attack on titan.

This is what I mentioned from before ripped straight from wikipedia:

"According to director Imaishi, much of the plot is based on the observation that the Japanese pronunciation of the words "fashion" (ファッション fasshon?) and "fascism" (ファッショ fassho?) is the same, as is that of "school uniform" (制服 seifuku?) and "conquest" (征服 seifuku?), and that the titular kiru may mean "kill" (キル?), "to cut" (切る?), or "to wear" (着る?)."

The anime has ridiculously over the top fan service which at first gives off the vibe of a low-tier anime, but you will come to realize that it is a reconstruction of the fighting girls with tits genre, much like gurren lagann was a reconstruction of mecha genre. The anime is filled with subtlety masked by it's over the top facade.

The artwork is fantastic, and character designs are pretty unique.
something to know going in: Gamagori's set size is: Bigger than you.
you'll see what i mean.

most of all, the anime in general is entertaining, even if you don't look to far into it and take it at face value.

If I decide to be less of a pain in the ass in regards to rating systems out of 10, then i guess i would have to rate this anime 10/10 simply because it managed to exceed my expectations and leave me wanting more each week. (It just finished airing thursday)

sure, i think there are some better anime, but i would have to say this anime is now one of my favorites.

don't let the first couple episodes fool you, this anime is absolutely brilliant.

the last 10 or so episode were 10 times better than the first 10 episodes.

lots of arbitrary 10s in this comment.

so you recently asked the sauce of this anime but the faggot OP is blocking me because he's a faggot

here was the reply i was going to send to you:

"have you been living under a rock?

kill la kill

made by the same people who made gurren lagann.

the entire basis of the anime is a japanese pun based on the fact that the japanese pronounce fascism and fashion similarly among other things.

admittedly i had low expectations going in considering the name of the anime is "kill la kill", but this ended up being a really good anime. "

enjoy.
