i know this is my favorite picture of them because it shows them all as friends instead of rivals.

Only downside is that it still doesn't talk to you with a old school robot sound.

Someone here explained that to me some time ago. Apparently if the ponyta trusts the trainer, then the trainer can touch the Pokemon's flame without getting burned.

i dont think that explains how hes physically grabbing the flame

...Because it's not literally flames, it looks like fire but it only burns someone that Ponyta doesn't trust. If you're going to pick apart something like that, why not just ask why Meouf can talk or how charizards flame is hot enough to melt boulders but doesn't melt ash's flesh.


It's a cartoon. If they say that's how it works in the Pok'e world, it does.

its like, not actually fire or something, its just really hot hair, i guess. although he may just be holding the tail under the flame/hair. idk what a horse's tail looks like without hair so idk. kinda creepy-sounding when you think about it.
