 That just means you're playing on hard mode: do pull-ups with only your left arm  That really sucks. They're my favorite workout. I went from 5 when I started to over 30 now, with 17 while wearing a 60 lb weighted vest. Feels good man. Only exercise I hate is running; I just do it so I stay athletic and well-rounded. I have a friend who's joints dislocate from tricep dips after a wrestling accident, and they were his favorite workout. Really blows. #34 -
gloriousthighs (12/20/2015) [-] That's impressive. I started with sets of 6 and can now do a few sets of 8 chest to bar with an under hand grip. Have any tips to get to your stage? You're going to be disappointed with this, but it was mostly (until around 20 pull-ups) just doing them all the time. I was doing pull-ups, pushups, dips, and core exercises for over 2 hours a day. After that, I needed to start adding weight to keep going up. My advice is to pace adding weight when you get to that stage, don't put a ridiculous amount on all at once, or you may hurt your joints. Also, if your interested in general fitness, there are some interval workouts I learned while boxing as a time-saver like counting up to a certain number of pushups, pull-ups, and squats (i.e. 1 pull-up, 5 push ups, 5 squats. 2 pull-ups, 10 pushups, 10 squats etc. then count back down). Also, cardio, as much as it sucks, benefits your overall health and general fitness more than anything else I've noticed. As when building any other muscle, eat enough and sleep 8 hours per night. Sorry I don't have anything more useful, but I kinda just did this because I wanted to get in good shape, and I got hooked. I never really researched techniques for it. #97 -

 Yeah, but a lot of people think that shooting yourself in the head is going to kill you when in fact you need to target specific areas. There are a lot of cases where people are shooting too close to their forehead and they just end up lobotomizing themselves. The trick is to shoot in your temporal lobe, just above the ear. That always does it.  It's very possible to just blow your face off and survive. That would suck.  there was a woman who tried to shoot herself she shot her eyes out of her head and survived it  My mom is a nurse and saw both people blowing off their eyes or they jaws and surviving. So don't use a gun. Usa a tank.  This is why we should own explosives. So we can blow up our heads. | ||

INSTEAD try and talk to people about it, seek comfort in their combined disgust at the situation, then have them hold you back. If enough people give them a weird vibe they may leave or something, THEN you get drunk and look at pretty sky lights

advice (05/31/2015) [-] simple. the one guy who liked Asami and then was like "but dat korra booty tho" should realize that Asami got mad stacks of cash and say "Korra I need to think of the future for me and my brother" and then Korra cries and whatever before deciding that the avatar shouldn't fall in love, that's when Aang/Katara get an episode of flashbacking to develop that characterization.
