It's a metaphor for gay or mentally/physically disabled people. Which were killed by the nazis so that their genes couldn't be passed on

I use Tomorrow theme since it looks great if you're colorblind.

i like white text on black, background because i often sit in the dark and find the black isnt as harsh to look at as the white background is
#39 - anon (01/13/2016) [-]
I use white background but the two other devs in my office use dark background. I think the dark background is easier on the eyes, but when I first learned Visual Studio I used white and I haven't cared enough to make myself "relearn" the different color scheme and feel comfortable with it. It looks "wrong" if I change it to dark haha.

Black backgroud, but with the glorious nano editor on debian all of my programs are multi-colored. Labeling variables, strings, logical operators, allin different colors. So yeah black background is my favorite.

I've been using Visual studios, It by default looks a lot like funny junk text and background.

It defaulted to white background for me. Had to go snooping in the settings to make it dark.

I like to use black background with as much colored alternatives as possible, it's easier to see a pink ; on black background compared to white.

Yeah, I usually do white or gray on black, and if I can pick display font I use Courier New. I think it looks nicer and is easier on the eyes for massive walls of text.

the majority of the people in my office code white text black background, but im with you i prefer the white background and black text

It's pretty common, yes. Less of a strain on the eyes since the light coming from the monitor is less intense.

because all immigrants are criminals

this is exactly where dolfy went wrong. Punishing the innocent along with the scum

My suggestion is, why not be against criminals without generalizing the situation and being Nazi?

You will be thumbed because people on FJ are sheep. They don't want to have unpopular opinions, and current opinion is that all Islamics and Middle Easterners in general are evil and need to die, and that all of them just want to rape and loot.

When clearly the ones who want to rape and loot need to die, and the ones who are left need to be protected and assisted because their whole world doesn't make sense anymore and they're scared for their lives.

We should only hope that in the future, when any of our countries are attacked and the people living in those times become refugees, that others will accept us with open arms, and keep us separate from the criminally insane who will no doubt evacuate alongside us.

I know I wouldn't want to be kicked out or shot because someone who looks similar to me or came from the same place I did was a violent asshole.

It's how people work. They generalize things. The common person doesn't, and until i'm proven otherwise, wont look at things from a individual basis. The state does it by groups because it's easier.

Do you think Nazis care about whether or not they are criminals, they killed six-million people for the sheer fact that they didn't want them there. Like shit nigga, its like you didn't pay any attention in history class

i was exaggerating, i hoped it was obvious.

imo we should help the syrian fugitives, but not through asylum.
We should spend money on sending help to syria instead of spending money on asylum

The problem remains. Who belongs to the good people and who just wants to case more trouble? And does the West even want Assad to be substituted? If they wanted they could have done that eaily

And i'm afraid i thought you were 100% serious with your comment. Maybe because some people on FJ actually are.
thanks for staying based

i think nowadays we (europe) are a bit too much on the left side on politics and anyone with a right side opinion is immediately called racist etc, it has a negative sound to it.
there's no telling who are the good people and who are the right people, even though if statisitics prove accepting refugees has an overall negative impact on your country, you should be reconsidering

Going too far right is much, much more dangerous than too far left. If you make a mistake on the left it can be corrected. If you make a mistake on the right, you can turn the world against you and watch your people burn - and deserve it.

You can count sand, though. They are made out of grains.
#8 - anon (01/12/2016) [-]
well you cant really count sand, you count the grains that it is made up of. Since sand is on of those words that is like always plural (like water and clothing) you dont really count it. A better way (i dont know if it is always right but works most of the time) is if you add an 's' to make it plural it is many. so like sand does not become sands and money does not become moneys so those dont use 'many' they use 'so much'
#7 - anon (01/12/2016) [-]
One of the things we count the most is money, and we don't say "many moneys"
#6 - adriaan (01/12/2016) [-]
Technically you can count water as well since they are made out of molecules.
Also grammatically it should than be "you can count sands", as you don't say "you can count book" either.
