Their reaction tends to be "I watch my kids", "Dont tell me how to raise my child" or they apologize. This usually happens when a lil shit is running around, knocking shit over or almost get's hurt. Am I going to tell them not to breed anymore? Nope, I dont know how they consistently handle their child or what happened leading up to this.

You on the other hand just outright said its difficult to keep an eye on them at a fkin mall as you cant see them a row over because they bolted when the only thing you can evidently do to keep track of your kid, as a parent, is not done (Constantly look at them rather than tossing them in a basket, holding on to them or hell, strap em to ya. Less its a big ass baby/child, that can be killer. There are more options that just visual.). Not really any way to misinterpret that as anything other than you prioritizing shopping over your child....in a mall....which tends to have many people of all kinds In case that was not well known info. .

"If one reasons"
The logical thing would be to avoid places that your child may be in danger, especially if you cannot put forth the effort to monitor them. Would you take them to the shady part of town and have them play on the junk yard jungle gym unsupervised? Your reasoning is that other things trump your child, therefore its fine. Your logic is not there, ofc accidents happen and people slip, but once more, you stated its just too difficult to keep up with them in a mall. Do you honestly see nothing wrong with that statement?

"Do you actually" Nope.

"Do you work with" Yes and yes, surprisingly enough the thought "Is my child safe in this environment?" crosses their mind's constantly and they dont just let them run rampant. Shocker.

All you have done so far is make emotional assumptions and statements to attempt to make yourself feel better about lacking the mental capacity to monitor and take care of a child in a possibly bustling and unprotected place. How about you go talk to parents whos children are grown, or even call yours up (I assume the habits were not hereditary), if possible, and see if its perfectly reasonable to let your child wander around a mall while you chill and shop.

I hope you and your own all have a wonderful rest of the summer and everyone stays safe, peace!

You're coming at me with accusations that I'm telling you all this out of spite or...negligence, I don't know...and then all you have for me is that you are one who tells people on a regular basis how to take care of their children without having your own. Not sure that's a good argument to take anything you say too seriously, since you actually, realistically, have no feet to stand on in this arena. You can have your opinions, but then again so does everyone, when the choices made by those opinions don't affect their own lives.

"They run off the MOMENT you look away, and you can't just see them in the next row at a mall. They're tiny and too short to stick up anywhere."
You replied with this to someone stating the parents are dipshits, in defense of the parents. You quite literally stated in their defense that children are easily lost and how they are difficult to monitor an aisle over. I said to keep en eye on them, hold onto them or strap their ass(s) to something. Dont see how that's such a hard concept to grasp. Its not accusations when your stance is in the defense of dipshits, and stating that they bolt the moment you are not tending to them as if watching them is the only way to keep your children in check.

An accusation is a claim that you have done something wrong, in this case, you have a wrong opinion and its more than a claim, you clearly stated your thoughts on the matter.

"all you have"
Along with the other context and explanations, but hey, who needs reading comprehension beyond a 3rd grade level now n' days?

You stated "I dare you to say that to anyone not over the internet", I replied stating that I have told people before, it has happened multiple times as surprisingly enough, children are not uncommon in a country that has a naturally growing population. You went on to think it happens on "a regular basis" when nothing pointed to that. If someones doing stupid shit with a child, ill damn well tell them to get their shit in line. Its a kids safety and well being over someones pride. Guess which ones just a tad more important? Its really not that difficult, I truly hope you know this one. Whether or not I have a kid is irreverent, its just some shitty "end all" slow people throw up for the smallest shit when someone says they are not the perfect parent. Case in point This conversation. .

"feet to stand on" Yeah, fk children's safety, im sure their parents who allowed them to be in the situation to begin with know best, its better to let the matter take its course. How do you know whats safe for a kid unless you have one, amirite?

"don't affect their own lives."
Again, you think that im somehow callous because I have ran into a situation where a kid was running around unsupervised and was going to hurt themselves, found their parent and told them they were running around, could have gotten hurt and to watch em. Your idea that no one should care for a kid and their safety if its not theirs or that somehow having a kid validates caring is quite sad. I honestly hope that's not a common idea in your area and the children are not growing up around people that only care for themselves.

Also, taking to account that last line about peoples opinions only affecting their own lives, I can see how you have little to no worry about a kids safety and rationalize it. Puts things into perspective.

If you are too thick to get the concept "Keep your kid next to you at all times, not just watch them while doing other things in a public place, and that they are THE priority.", and that's perfectly fine parenting, then fine, you're great 10/10. After all, how else would someone know that an unsupervised child is safe on their own wandering around a public place if they have not had a child of their own? Its baffling, really. The audacity of some.

You're putting a lot of words in my mouth. Also, you believe my typing, or grammar skills are sub-par only because you've only read uneducated morons typing on the internet for so long that you've either forgotten, or never learned how to properly form coherent sentences.
I'm not very surprised by how much you have to type to get your point across, and it really only adds to the argument that you feel the need to defend yourself with as big as a word wall as you can create.
"Accusation" doesn't necessarily mean some 'thing' wrong. It could mean anything wrong, like an opinion, which you seem to believe is possible to be wrong, despite it being anyone's prerogative to create for themselves, and shouldn't actually effect another person's feelings unless you aren't socially developed. (See SJW and Feminism posts)
Just seems like you're a sour, small person with an opinion everyone must accept, or else they're a bad person. I'm surprised you survive the outside world with all these...opinions and...people around you.

"You're putting a lot of words in my mouth."
Then clarify 'They run off the MOMENT you look away, and you can't just see them in the next row at a mall. They're tiny and too short to stick up anywhere.' as something other than the individual not being competent enough to keep their child with them and you defending them. You've done next to nothing other than say "You dont have a kid so you dont know".

"Also, you believe my typing"
You are the only one referring to either typing or grammar here. I could not give two shits if someones spelling and sentence structures are perfect, as long as its legible and the point gets across, its fine. If you are referring to "reading comprehension", then here is a quick desc. Reading comprehension is defined as the level of understanding of a text/message. This understanding comes from the interaction between the words that are written and how they trigger knowledge outside the text/message.

"I'm not very surprised"
You evidently are if you found a need to state that 2 minutes worth of reading material is too lengthy. Im replying to statements you made, many of which are repetitive due to you skipping previously provided info or saying the same thing in a slightly different way.

"defend yourself"
Not really, I kinda said its not that difficult to do something other than stare at your child to keep them in check, you dont believe it(And acted like telling someone to watch their kid was a bad thing), and lo and behold, here we are. Its nice that this lil bit is considered a word wall though, must be tough.

"doesn't necessarily mean some"
Def for "accusation" and "something" as the dictionary is a hard thing to use at times.
Accusation - a charge or claim that someone has done something illegal or wrong.
Something -
1.
a thing that is unspecified or unknown.
2.
used in various expressions indicating that a description or amount being stated is not exact.
The fact that you did not know the usage of the word "something" is a bit concerning. Its literally unspecified, as in not something definite.

"opinion"
You can definitely have a wrong opinion. You can have a view that everyone on the planets possessions belong to you, that is an opinion, and its wrong. Not that difficult to comprehend. Just because someone believes in something does not make it valid or untouchable.

For the rest - Nah, just trying to figure out why someone thinks its fine to leave children unsupervised. Seeing that basic words trip you up and that you cannot even keep up with what little you can manage to state/attempt to answer, I am just a bit further from the answer.

All in all, if you wanna keep the back and forth up, its all cool. Have not seen someone play dumb so well in a while. Peace.

Then watch them, carry them or hold their hand. Its not fucking rocket science. Never seen a relative that did not instill it in their kids mind that they need to stay next to them and hold their hand while out and about. If you're shopping takes priority over a child's safety and well being, you should have never bred/breed Saying this in the event that you are just saying random shit and dont have kids. It seems bit late though, looking at the working in your comment though. .
#110 - adrenalinbbq (05/22/2016) [-]
I dare you to say that to anyone not over the internet and see what their reaction is going to be.
Anyone can have an opinion. If one reasons logically instead of emotionally, you look at who's giving them before reacting. Do you actually have children? Do you work with people or have close friends with children? I'm going to guess you don't, and are just saying this because it's what you FEEL, because that's more important to you than getting perspective from parents. Just conjecture, though.
#112 - miasaki (05/23/2016) [-]
