Goku is getting ready to pounce off of his front foot and his back arm is going to come forward, he's leaving room to turn, while Vegeta is taking a defensive/counter stance, he is ready to avoid and bring his right arm back around afterwards.

Also, it's Anime, logic isn't shit.

Peggle knew what it is was getting itself into. It deserves no protection!

What about if it's set up so he can jump into the Kamehameha stance quickly, I mean all he has to do is bring his arms together.

What if the stance is perfect for quickly channeling ki?
User avatar
#93 - krobeles (06/01/2013) [-]
Hmmmm...That'de sorta make sense i guess.
But that'de just mean that its perfect for channeling Ki and not much else. Wouldn't a stance thats awesome for fighting and still decent for channeling Ki be better?

I have a theory that, in that series, at some very early point, most likely when Goku went to train with King Kai, they stopped relying on their muscles for physical combat power, and instead their monster strength is being produced by pouring Ki into their punches, kicks, etc.

The way their bodies are able to withstand such inconcievable force when they are hit by an attack is most likely due to the recieving end of the attack using Ki to deflect the attacker's Ki, weakening attacks dramaticly.

This would explain why a stance made for channeling Ki would be better than one designed to help you guard.

FJ, where we will debate the legitimate power structures of a universe that proclaimed its own power structure ridiculous. Despite that eiais, I like your logic.

Oh, I just like debating anything I have even a moderate amount of knowledge about.

Theory sorta make sense. Would also account for why characters sometimes can be killed in a single blow by a 'surprise attack'. They didn't have their magical force field up at the time, since they didn't see the nessesity. Then, SUPRISE MOFO!

Also explains why super saiyan Goku was pained when Krillin lobbed a hand-size rock at him while Goku was sleeping.

Even if they do eventually come out, not everyone has to have them removed depending on your jaw structure.
