Usually depends but I can normally get it done in about an hour and half. It's more of a casual stroll rather than power-walking, but when I drop weight imma start jogging my route instead.
I'm lazy as shit too but I got this app called Stepz (it's on the app store, not sure if it's available for android or windows phones). It's a free very basic step tracker but it gives you achievements and stuff. Find myself wanting to beat yesterdays steps and essentially get a high score haha. Definitely recommend something like that!

I've been using the app MyFitnessPal. Its, no joke, changed my life and the way I eat.
I recommend downloads it and just track everything he eats you can scan barcodes and, because millions of people use it, your food is already in there with all its nutritional info and as long as he keeps his calories to about 1500 a day he will break that plateau eventually.
I hit my plateau at around 40 pounds and it lasted for about two weeks, but carrying on broke through it eventually. I wish him luck!

I think we all want it to get to where we want to be overnight and feel down when it doesn't happen. I myself worked out that I could be at my goal weight by August this year, which though possible was completely unrealistic.
Just take it at a reasonable pace and don't worry about the length of time. It'll all fall into place eventually. Remember, it may take a year or two but a life time of health awaits.

Congrats, honestly just don't push yourself. Set the goal around equal pace for a week, and then turn it up 5 minutes every Sunday. Set a simple goal, It may seem like hardly anything, but it certainly adds up. Even if you do it every other week. In one month that'd be 20/10 minutes, in two months that's 40/20 now that certainly might seem like a lot, but your body adjusts fairly quickly. The worst thing you can do for yourself is when you're not ready and suddenly leap up. Just do a walking pace and extend it. Then, when you feel yourself starting to sweat much less, and just honestly comfortable with your pace, just barely turn it up. You'll slowly become much more fit by something so simple, congrats on the weight loss and hope you keep up with it

I am always glad to see frank posts like this who say it blunt and straight, especially when they come from someone who has the right to say it.
Best of luck in your weight loss - it should have started going down really fast at a weight of 333, but it's bound to become more and more difficult the lower you get.

Yeah, i'm dreading that. It's still going down really fast at the moment which is amazing I can lose four or five pound a week with absolutely no exercise but I'm dreading that slow down.
The only saving grace I have is that I haven't started a proper exercise regime yet so i still have room to improve and help pick up that pace when it does drop. I haven't gone hell to leather and started diet and exercise at once which was what made me ruin my diets in the past. Too much all at once, absolute nightmare
