If your girl is really faithful to you, depending on the crime you committed (Possession as opposed to assault where you beat her or someone she cares about) she'd be willing to wait for you to get out, and if it's only two years, you might get out early on good behavior.

However, I do have a friend whose mom is married to an inmate. They met and got married while he was in prison. He's been there for some time and I don't recall whether or not it's a life sentence he's on, but she loves him all the same. There's no sex involved because of obvious reasons, but they're still together.
