Sorry, I forgot the other one.

There was also the bit where he attempted to use the legal system to file a suit against a renewable energy company on the grounds of "he could see them from his golf course".

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll await your response of it all still being better than what Hillarys done, as though one man's sins absolve another of theirs.

"as though one man's sins absolve another of theirs"

Are you fucking retarded?

You have two candidates. One did bad things. The other did way worse. Would you vote for the one who did way worse because their crimes don't absolve the ones of the other?

It's almost like in your incoherent hatred of Trump you'll try to use anything that kind-of-seems-like-it-could-be-an-argument-perhaps-maybe without ever thinking "wait... Does the shit I say actually make sense? Oh, holy fuck... I'm so fucking retarded. Goddamn it. Why was I born retarded, Father?"
User avatar
#76 - obscenearmadillo (10/20/2016) [-]
You are saying this like we know the whole picture of both candidates. I am not for hillary, I am not against trump, but there clearly is a strong pro-trump sentiment on this website. They are both horrible, I mean just tonight alone in one of the last questions they for the first time addressed national debt and how they both have poor plans to manage it.

If this doesn't illustrate clearly enough that both candidates are inept I don't know what does.

I can't blame people for voting either way because they both preach half-baked policies and both flip-flop so much that no one even knows what either of them actually even think about important issues like the national debt or entitlements(also not addressed until the FINAL few questions of the LAST presidential debate- that's a little scary).

Believe what you want but when you say "one is so much worse than the other" I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Every other day hillary is the worse one, then trump.

It doesn't matter, vote how you please, but for the love of god don't be such an insufferable cunt when someone has the audacity to have a different opinion than you on a website that is pro-trump. Dialogue is important.
#101 - migueldecervantes (10/21/2016) [-]
"You are saying this like we know the whole picture of both candidates"

Yes. Because that is the argument given in the content, and that is what we build upon. I was responding to that other fag's point about how "one candidate's sins don't excuse another's".

I was going to go through your comment in detail but you basically reiterate the same point continuously: Trump and Hillary are both bad candidates.

Do you at least understand that it is off base? It does not pertain to the argument that we are having? I was only replying to one of his points. He made one bad point. I agree with him on all other matters.

But if you have one bad and one worse--just suppose we do--then you have to vote for the better one (or least bad, at any rate). He commented on how this is not absolutely true and I opposed him on that point. That is all.

Who exactly is the worst--or whether they are both as bad--does not pertain to this. Do you understand?

"don't be such an insufferable cunt"

next sentence: "Dialogue is important."

Tell me you see the irony in this... Please, tell me you do.

I would vote for one of the third options because I'm not a retard who buys in to the two party clusterfuck.
User avatar
#79 - wrpen (10/20/2016) [-]
This comes up every single election.

The only reason third parties even show up on the ballot is that your vote doesn't matter at all in the first place. The two party system benefits the entire government, so if there was really any chance of a third party winner outside the assassination of both the primary candidates on November 7th, Congress would've already averted it. As it stands, whether your vote is even considered is at the mercy of between 3 and 55 people, depending on the population of your state, and whether it actually counts towards who you chose depends on whether you live in a state that candidate already won in the first place.

And the fact that the whole country buys into it doesn't fluster you, you idiot? You're fine with your vote being basically void?
User avatar
#87 - daniboyi (10/20/2016) [-]
And you are the person who would rather vote to win, than vote for what you believe in.

As long as people like you exist, democracy is, and will continue to be, a big fat joke in human history.

"hurr durr your vote is void because you didn't win!"
#95 - migueldecervantes (10/21/2016) [-]
Okay. Two questions.

1) How is voting for a third candidate not tantamount to throwing your vote away?

2) Why is voting for the candidate that has the best chance to win and who happens to best represent my beliefs--why is this voting "to win", as you put it, rather than voting for what I "believe in"?
User avatar
#58 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
You mean "does the fact that the country is populated by a gratuitous amount of morons fluster me"?

If it did, I wouldn't be able to peruse this website, or talk to you right now.
#96 - migueldecervantes (10/21/2016) [-]
Gratuitous means "generous" or "uncalled for" usually. Not the word you are trying to use. I think you meant "significant" or "big".

At any rate, you maybe got my point wrong because you are retarded: I wasn't saying "does it bother you that your vote is void because people are stupid?"--rather, I was asking: "does it bother you that your vote is void because you refuse to play by the existing rules and are too much of an idiot to understand that your tantrums won't change the world any time soon?"

Again, "peruse" implies that you are reading or going through something with great care. It's a little strange that, in calling me and this website moronic, you would admit to having trouble understanding what we have to say.

Ah, yes... I can already hear the "It's because I'm too intelligent to understand your moron dialect lol XD".

Come up with a better retort than the aforementioned one and I'll give you a kiss.
#98 - lolollo (10/21/2016) [-]
You got puruse wrong to. When you take care to read through something, you scrutinize it as opposed to just glossing over.

You're very bad at this.
#99 - migueldecervantes (10/21/2016) [-]
Got "puruse" wrong to what...? To peruse, perhaps?

Scrutinize is kind of the same thing as "going through something with great care". Why do you need to go over my comments with great care...? Is it because they are too complex for you? I swear, my bro, I'm selecting the simplest expressions for you to peruse--it's your need to peruse them that is questionable, really.

Not good enough. No kiss for you still.
#102 - lolollo (10/21/2016) [-]
Your entire argument hinges on your entirely, and erroneous look that one up to, you'll find that one contextually correct to interpretation of the use of the word. Yet I'm the idiot. K
#103 - migueldecervantes (10/22/2016) [-]
Entirely what...? Why don't you complete your sentences for once? Why do you assume right off the bat that I don't know what a simple word means? Why do you call an appeal to the definition of a word an "interpretation" as though it had any kind of subjectivity attached to it?

So many whys yet so few becauses...

I don't think you're an idiot, by the way. I think you're cool--a little confused perhaps, but who isn't in this crazy, crazy world?
#104 - lolollo (10/22/2016) [-]

There's two.

The worst thing I'd say he's done is his abuse of the legal system to get out of paying taxes.

Or, you know, that thing you lot keep vehemently trying to ignore as much as Hillary fans are trying to ignore Benghazi.
#25 - voltagen (10/19/2016) [-]
Ok, so would we rather elect a guy who used existing laws to avoid losing money, or a guy who manipulated politicians and political institutions to steal millions of dollars and become incredibly wealthy? Or, even simpler, do we want to reward the person who lost 6 billion dollars from the state department? Thats WAY more money out of the government than Trump would ever pay in taxes
User avatar
#31 - lolollo (10/19/2016) [-]
Or you could not be a retard and play in to the false choice that is every single election.

It's like it someone told you "you can be burned to death, or drowned in lemon juice".

You sarcastically ask "can I choose to leave" to which you're told "well, yes, IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR CHOICE!"
#33 - voltagen (10/19/2016) [-]
As far as your analogy, its being asked, do you want a guy who constantly spews lemon juice from his mouth to blast everyone in the country with that lemon juice? Or would you prefer the person with fire breath to breathe fire on everyone in your country? Obviously the lemon juice is going to suck, but no one is going to be horribly disfigured, burned, or die. Unless theyre allergic to citrus, which isnt that many people. You know how many people are allergic to being horribly burned? All of them
User avatar
#34 - lolollo (10/19/2016) [-]
Or you can still choose the option "one of the other choices on the grounds that they don't have supernatural mouth powers to hurt people".
#35 - voltagen (10/19/2016) [-]
No, in this reality all possible candidates have horrible supernatural mouth powers, and also the current situation where 3rd party candidates are shit. Ive done some research on them and none of them are any good Except Vermin Supreme

#37 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
Oh really. What do you particularly dislike about them?
#39 - voltagen (10/20/2016) [-]
Well, the one I like most is Joe Exotic. Hes gay, he raises tigers. Whats not to love? The issue is he has no idea how to run a country, probably has no idea what a constitution even is, and I highly doubt he can do math.

Theres Jill Stein, but she was in a shitty band, her ideas on bailing out students dont make any sense because she doesnt say where the money would come from, and she is pretty vague on all of her positions.

Then theres Gary Johnson, and his tax ideas make LITERALLY no sense and Im sure they would ruin the nation
#40 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
> this one doesn't seem like he'd even know how to run a country
> probably doesn't even know what a constitution is
> this one has really poorly explained plans for their presidency

#41 - voltagen (10/20/2016) [-]
Again, its not about wanting trump, its about preventing Hillary. And also Trump is CONSTANTLY releasing Plans for what he wants to do with his presidency, Obviously knows the law and how law works VERY well, and even if he doesnt know how to run countries, I would MUCH rather have him learn on the job than have Hillary take complete control of the nation and literally rape our freedoms
User avatar
#42 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
> CONSTANTLY releasing plans

Fuck off. A specified plan for what he was intending on doing just came out. Or are you seriously gonna say that his website where he says "yep, gon fix the economy!" was a serious note of his plan?
#43 - voltagen (10/20/2016) [-]
I was actually talking about his plans to prevent congressmen from becoming lobbyists, which is something Ive thought should happen for years, right after term limits for senators and representatives
User avatar
#44 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
Cool, so the thing that still literally just happened.
#45 - voltagen (10/20/2016) [-]
ok? He also has been saying for a long time now that he wants to prevent illegal immigrants from coming into the country, which I fully support. And hes said that he wants to lower taxes for everyone by a large amount. Why are you attacking my choice of the most recent thing? Why are you shilling so hard?
User avatar
#47 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
Because his plan for illegals was "wall!" and his plans for taxes was "gonna just do it, ok?"

Yet you have a concern with someone's education reform because "I'll need a statistical analysis done on the allocation of funds signed in triplicate and submitted prior to last Tuesday for consideration!"
#49 - azteh (10/20/2016) [-]
Why are you so much against Trump? I can understand that cheating the system to avoid some taxes are bad, but I wouldn't say it's even in the same league as Hillary's crimes.
User avatar
#50 - lolollo (10/20/2016) [-]
I dislike both of them. And I dislike Trump because he's everything that's wrong with how our business model is. I don't dislike him for president because I have a feeling it's just gonna eat 4 to 8 years of Trump "ask"ing Congress to do stuff and Congress telling him to shove his wall up his ass.
#51 - azteh (10/20/2016) [-]
fair enough. Thanks for answering
