Why would you need consequences for something that doesn't harm you or anyone else? There really is no point to keep it illegal...It's still pretty easy to get.

i guarantee you marijuana has caused more deaths than you think. how many times has someone crashed a car because they were so high they forgot what they were doing? how many people got high and fell over, hitting their head on a curb? weed doesnt necessarily make you clumsy but it slows reaction time. when you smoke a blunt there is as much tar entering your lungs as 5 cigs. youre still inhaling smoke. what happens if you smoke a lot and then you get into a fight? if youre hiogh you might get your ass kicked and depending on the extent of said ass kicking you may be seriously injured. lets say you smoke heavily regularly, and you get into a fight and you get winded too easily? i smoke weed, but im not gonna be ignorant to the risks of it just because some 16 year old stoner likes to make pictures acting like theyre herbalists. i even read something saying weed smoked in copious amounts can cause frequent stomach aches. my psychiatrist gave me the article. also if you get high and keep eating and eating you could very well get fat

Nobody that I know that smokes weed hasn't had anything happen to them either. So I guess in my personal study it isn't harmful in the least bit.

I'm not going to say it makes you happy. It relaxes your muscles. I smoke to wind down from the day and chill out late at night. What stupid decision could I make in my room when I'm watching youtube videos and playing video games? Well its a complex matter, it sounds like for you weed has turned out okay, however, for example my friend has let his life go to shit cuz of weed. One example, he paid for an apartment room but won't move in because hes afraid of my other friend's PO officer because he wants to be able to smoke in peace. He has no job, recently dropped out of college pretty much, etc. I don't believe people like you should be punished for mistakes by people like my friend, but I guess keep in mind that Weed can and has harmed individuals as much as heroine.
