i know very few people that are kind to the animals they kill, they are there for a paycheck and nothing else
they see them as annoyances, little more

its not about the mental state, or any sadistic tendencies
its the fact that this guy that set the spider on fire understood that there are literally no negative consequences to his actions in this scenario
so why the fuck not set the spider on fire, is its brother gonna track you down and kill you. of course not

in summary, do what you want to if no one is going to stop you

its hilarious

for best results leave one leg on and then watch them try to hop forward. but instead they do this kinda loop-de-loop thing off to the side

but on a slightly serious note do you actually think that abbatoirs(slaughter houses, typically beef and pig) are humane.
standard procedure is to use a gas piston on the forehead to "stun" the animal, its does its job about 70% of the time

then they lock their head in a vice, and get a big blade that gets sharpened maybe once a month, and slide it into a notch at the bottom

kind of like a slow-working, upside down guillotine.
now remember, cows on average weigh 750 kg and have about 40-50 lites of blood
its takes a fair while for it to bleed out

My step dad worked at an abattoirs, so I'm familiar with the process. Im not saying, nor have I ever said, that we are as humane as we should be when it comes to slaughtering animals for meat, or indead that we treat our farmed animals to the best of our abiities as a whole. While every farmer and abs worker I know does their best to be humane, my point was that needless, senseless cruelty like this says a ot of negative things about the mental state of the person doing it.

Your only comeback is regarding a spelling error? You obviously don't have the capability to have a well reasoned discussion.

Poisoning mice = okay.
Did you know they die from internal hemorrhaging?
Hunting Deer = okay.
Many deer die of blood loss or lie down because their back bone is severed. (not instant)

In both cases. They live longer than that spider did.

Burn a spider = lose your shit!!!!!

I own pet rats, and would never use poison on any rodent. I disagree with hunting for sport, although if someone needs the meet then its perfectly acceptable, provided they are as humane as possible.

Whoever said those were okay?
I agree with them, willingly harming an animal in front of you indicates an unstable temperament. I wouldn't want to associate with them.

i bet she uses humane glue mouse traps that get checked once a month

and buys meat from the store where no animals are harmed
User avatar
#29 - White Wolf (06/11/2016) [-]
First and foremost, I'm male and pretty sure my dick is bigger than yours. Second, if I ever had mice, I only used the traps that close a door upon entry, and check them daily to release them in the local reserve. Our farming practices have evolved to become (relatively) humane, and while I am aware that animals are harmed during the process I have also worked with farmers who treat their animals as well as possible.

My only point was that any cruelty such as this says a lot about what a person is capable of, and I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them
