Exactly! Also scanners give you 1:1 scale print. Someone mentioned that you can just poke holes in the paper in place for the holes, that seems like the easiest idea of them all.

lol most contractors have a chalk line with them at all times and well.. as far as I know, most DIYers do anyways. just shaking some chalk onto the holes always worked for me saves time waiting for an ink jet printer to work, plus paper jams bad scaling, plus ink is expensive, ide rather not waste it on that.

I have 3 printers with flat top scanners... All of them work I think.. cant say i've used one in a long time. Not since digital cameras showed up in phones >_>
