Tons of people from New York move to Florida when they retire. The cost of living in New York is high and so are the salaries, so their dollar goes further in Florida where cost of living is lower. (i.e. Mortgages/rent)

It's a hyperbole really. Honestly though, I can think of at lest 20 New Yorkers I know off of the top of my head that I've met in my area since high school. Even my dad is a New Yorker.

Man I've lived in duval my whole life.. Most people from new york i've met were either in the navy, had parents in the navy, or were driving back as quick as they could
