It's true. Rap really wasn't ever that good to begin with, but atleast back in the 90's, some of them had lyrical talent and talked about something OTHER than themselves. I mean there's still some decent ones out there, but they're pretty underground. Like Atmosphere, Brother Ali and Grieves. Pretty much anyone from Rhymesayers.
Other than that, rap might as well take a cyanide pill for a more dignified death than rappers like Lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, and all those other assholes are doing to it.

totally understand where your coming from, the only thing i listen to from the rap/hip hop is Lupe Fiasco, KiD CuDi, OFWGKTA, and Nacho Picasso (check nacho out, his albums are free & dope)

Her lyrics are bad. She can't sing. She can't rap. Her beats are awful. And she can't even use her looks to fall back on, because she's ugly as fuck. The only reason she gets ANY attention is because her designer does a goddamn good job of covering up her cottage cheese ass with clothes, tights and silicone.
