Glitchs are like the only reasons speedruns are interesting
That's why there's a difference between glitch runs and full runs.
I just wish they were always considered fully separate.
I wanted to find a good Super Mario Land 2 speedrun, and while I did find a few, it made me upset that only one record was credited, and it was for a run that completed one single level, and then used a bug to go straight to the end-game scene and credits.
there are numerous types of speedruns tho?
I get that, but I just don't think it counts if you aren't even playing most of the game, or ANY of it in some cases.

So sorry for the ranting. But the madness does not stop there. So we have only 1 Archimonde and Kil'jaeden right? But we have multiple Velens from alternative timelines.
Those 2 were the same race as Velen before becomming demons, so what happened to their alternative timeline versions if there now only exist 1 of them? Its a damn paradox.
I can handle a little Jesus Illidan, but this aforementioned stuff right there, really killed warcraft for me.
I hate how they went on using alternative universes.
By doing that they created a big gap in the whole lore.
So, alternative universes implies infinite realities. Meaning there are an infinite numbers of Uther's Illidans etc etc etc. One reality may have a timeline where the Lich King won over the Horde and the Alliance. Its cool its all cool.
But then they went on and said "Oh but there is only 1 Kil'Jaeden and 1 Archimonde etc etc. There is only 1 of each giant demon lord, they exist outside of the alternative unisersal laws"
So... 1 Archimonde, but infinite universe timelines. They have the ability to go to any of the universes they please. That much is shown in WoD, but Archimonde doesn't go into the universes where he succeeds in taking the power of Mount Hyjal's world tree? They even prclaimed if he succeeded in doing so he could reach Sargeras tier powers.
So would it not stand to reason that there are atleast a couple of alternative realities where Archimonde succeeds? This is where their lore becomes bullshit. Sargeras has had 10k years or so to find realities where the Legion succeeds against Azeroth, collect enough magical energies to become a universal destroyer.
It all unravels because they insist that Legion is not affected by Universal laws, and still doesn't grow in power from the potential of entering realities where the Legion will win.
This is why time magic and alternative uniserses should just stay out of any lore at all. Its messy and full of holes.
But that aint my only beef with Warcraft, its the whole 'Oh you have beaten me this time, but next time we meet I will be stronger!" kind of thing WoW has turned warcraft into.
At least in Warcraft 3 and previous warcraft titles, characters that seemingly died but didn't were rare. Almost any character in WoW that has seemingly died has been exposed to the 'merely a setback' excuse, and it really takes the lore significance away, when you can espect something to stay alive regardless.
